Mtnl Broadband Frequent Disconnection

I am facing disconnection issue for almost a year though once was a time when it disconnect every 5 minutes but then after 3-4 days it was solved and now it usually disconnect in an hour
Have complaint million of times then they send someone who just tells me "Abhi to chal raha hai"
 
Anyone experiencing very low download speed? I am only getting 16-17kBps on 1mbps connection(delhi).
Surfing speed is bad too.
 
Never faced any issues while downloading , especially with torrents max speed but streaming video is bad at some times but only some times.
 
Facing problems these days....
I am using freedom 800 plan of mtnl...
But these days very low speed....
And yesterday a thing happened ....
My torrent downloading was going on remarkably at speed of 2 mbps but i cannot surf means i wasnot able to start my internet No google was opening neither any site...
Nor in my mb. Wifi signals were there but no net connection in der...
Means no internet was working only the torrent was running don't know how or what happened...tried to stop the torrent and then try to run google but nothing worked....
After 2-3 hrs it was back to normal but with speed issues....
Too much issues going on these days....
 
From yesterday I am too getting 15-20kbps speed
even they are not registering the complaints....
I think there is some big problem with mtnl:confused:
 
recently about a week back, i faced very slow browsing and download speed like 5-6 kb/sec, later the download speed became normal, But the latency for multiplayer games increased.

How do I explain this to mtnl that my game latency has gone for a toss :(
 
MTNL mumbai still offering 2mbps it seems....but 80% of it means i m getting around 1.6/1.7 mbps

@dinjo dude how did you make sure you get 2 mbps....the first statement i hear is that we are supposed to get 90% of 1mbps and 80% of 2mbps :mad:
any ideas about improving latency....it has gone from bad to worse now !!

My downrate is set to 4096 ealier it was 2048 and i used to get 1.75 Mbps but i had a huge fight with my area DGM on it and i escalated the matter to Central General Manager and finally they changed my rate to 4096 and now i get average 2 Mbps sometime around 2.10 Mbps

Connection is long time issue with MTNL :(

... the CORE issue is LOSS... MTNL continuously making losses. 90% of (related to broadband department) them DON'T know anything other than Line (wire is ok or not), humming sound and the FAMOUS router settings.

Time to takeover MTNL by Good pvt. entrepreneur.
 
Please give your valuable inputs on following:-

MTNL Mumbai going mad here in my case, see following screen shot - all time such things keep happening again and again from last couple of months and NO ONE from MTNL understand (may be they pretend) what to do and how to solved it ...strange what kind of Engineers They have may be MTNL engineers have degree on paper but nothing in HEAD (empty tin)
