And guys ,all of these chairs are Chinese so get the one from whom you get at a cheap rate ,godrej durian blah blah all of it is Chinese

It's not that straightforward. The brand's QC and cost-cutting make a difference.
Helpful video though, thanks.

Yes exactly. Forget everything you get hydraulics at every price range. Quality determines how soon the chair will fall flat. I've seen a lot of variance in quality of plastic and other stuff too. So be sure to check that out.

Any online recommendation other than featherlite ?

Also, please start using foot rest, it helps by taking pressure of your feet.

Look at the entry level Steelcase chairs. They have 15% off right now on their India website.

My daily driver is a Steelcase Leap v2 and my wife uses a Steelcase Think. The chairs have helped a lot during the wfh regime at home.

Their chairs have 12 year warranty.

Lol yes. I think it was your post I saw about Steelcase. Total for the 2 110K I think?

My office uses Steelcase chairs, and I've missed them terribly over the last 9 months. But I can't spring 20K for a chair at the moment.

I went with a Featherlite chair, it's been delivered today but I haven't unpacked it yet. Let's hope it's decent.

Edit: Sorry didn't see you were responding to an older post not mine above.

The motorized ones cost a bomb
we use these at work. they are not that expensive. but not sure if they are available in india. imo sit stand is way more healthier than a gaming chair.

Godrej sells a motorised height adjustable table. The local showroom quoted a price of 70k (negotiable). For this price, I would rather buy a taller second desk, another monitor and an HDMI switch.

Kal unboxing....
Price brand details plz.
JMD Arcade Mall Gurgaon NCR.
is the base made of steel or its a plastic ?
Metal for sure :)

This one.
I went to 4/5 showrooms and sat on 15 + chairs. I can say that one can't really rely on pics/reviews to buy a chair. A showroom visit is a must.

This brand seems good but they have their only showroom in mumbai.

I paid 8.5k shipped for the chair and its from ample Marvel Executive Series. was in my budget and gave all the functionality of what I was looking for. rest are all above 13k or so. for my first chair, this is more than enough :angelic:
