Hey folks, I need your expert tips for a Goa getaway!

We are planning a relaxing road trip from Mumbai for the holiday season (last week of December). We’re thinking of traveling with one or two families with kids and since we’ll be driving, we have the flexiblity of travelling.

Here's what we are looking:

- A relaxing break — looking to stay at a place for 1-2 nights at a time.
- Not into the party scene or clubbing this time around, just want some peace and quiet.
- Trip length: 5-6 nights.
- Seeking out the less-crowded, picturesque beaches!
- For accommodation, we’re leaning toward apartments with kitchens for some home-cooked meals.
- Safety is a priority, of course.

Would love your recommendations for off-the-beaten-path beaches, hidden gems, and cozy stays. Thanks in advance for the help!

I'd recommend you time your trip in a way that you avoid going during the Sunburn festival days. It's really a mess and not advisable. There's crazy traffic and mostly idiotic crowd.

Oops!
The problem is kids can go only in vacations and they are in the last week of December only!

Check out konkanexplorers.com and try to include one of their packages in your schedule. I had gone on a kayaking + cruise with them 6 years ago, and it is easily one of the most memorable experiences I have had.
