^^ in my case, the door and the frame are made of different types of wood, which creates gaps during summers. currently i've applied a silicon foam tape on the inside of the frame. this has taken care of the vibrations and the leakage around the door. there's almost no gap at the bottom but nonetheless, i am going to install a weatherstrip.
i am going to upholster the door like in the picture below, to let it absorb more sound/vibrations. it'll get spoiled eventually, as i need to do this on a door on a facing outside.
you can install weatherstripping inside and outside of your door to take care of the gaps. and then apply some silicon foam tape where the door meets the frame.
and yes, it's possible to change only the frame but it'll involve masonry work.
