why do you need VPS ? if you need anonymity then use a SSH tunnel that works pretty well . AFAIK apart from the easy GUI on VPS nothing else should change.

well even London falls under Europe
And nobody was talking about London,If u have read correctly i told him to get the server from france,since NL servers are way too expensive for a single purchase.
And btw London too has good peering.The redstation UK datacenter is awesome.It has great connectivity with NL and France.
Redstation provides transit from core internet nodes.It covers the entire UK and also connects Amsterdam , Paris and Frankfurt
