I got G.skill RAM replacement from PrimeAbGb Mumbai as bought same from them.
I got replacement for my 9 yrs old DDR 3 RAM within 30 days and that too on CORONA Pandemic time (Sept-Oct 2020).
It requires to send them purchase Invoice Xerox + RAM Stick via any Courier, and yes Invoice must have & should match Serial Number with RAM Sticks.

I noticed double click issue with 3 New Logitech mouse (under Rs.1000/- budget) just after completion of 12 months.

Ah ok. Maybe it depends on where you bought it from. Will correct my post.

Yea, this is a recurring theme with Logitech mice. My G102 and my friends G402+502 started double clicking within a year.

Barely any at all. These newer cards have very less oc headroom and there is a maximum 2-3% difference between these cards. Also Nvidia doesn't allow any crazy mods so we don't get any exotic models anymore.

I would suggest not going for the extreme budget and premium models. For example Asus Tuf, Gigabyte Eagle/Windforce, MSI Gaming Trio, etc. are excellent. Asus Strix, MSI Suprim and Gigabyte Aorus Master aren't any different in terms of performance or cooling.

Have a look at Hardware Unboxed's reviews of various cards.
 
Still can't decide on the GPU model. Since the price to performance drops when going for premium models, I've decided to not spend more than 40k on the GPU.
Help me in finalising a GPU. Should I go with the lowest priced RX 6700 XT?
I'm also looking at the below options:
  1. Asus Dual Radeon RX 6750 XT OC - 40k
  2. Gigabyte RTX 3060 Ti Eagle OC - 40k
  3. Gigabyte Radeon RX 6700 XT Gaming OC - 40k
  4. Gigabyte Radeon RX 6700 XT Eagle - 39k
  5. Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT OC - 39K

It depends. Radeons are bad at ray tracing, encoding capabilities (like for video editing and streaming) are worse but rasterization performance is great.

The Nvidia cards are better at both ray tracing and encoding capabilities, but rasterization is a bit worse.

So if you do a lot of streaming or video editing/encoding, it's Nvidia all the way.

But as per your requirement which is only gaming and browsing, I'd suggest going with the Sapphire Pulse 6700XT (non OC) for 34k. Manually overclocking it will see it easily matching or even beating the OC model.
 
If you're going for purely gaming use Radeon. Raytracing isn't worth it in mid range cards. Cyberpunk barely gives 60fps using DLSS with Ray tracing on in 3060ti .

I'd say the only game which looks way better with Raytracing is Metro Exodus.

I doubt my brother would be streaming but he might do some light video editing. Should go for AMD. What about the models I mentioned above?

Gigabyte one is 4k costlier. MSI one 3k. Do you think the premium over Asus is justified?
Are they really better cards than the Asus?

For me, my 3600MHz RAM runs in Gear 1, equivalent to 1800MHz FCLK in AMD (1:1 mode).

Out of the box, my mobo had some issues with power delivery, not RAM. So can be a mobo issue, just needs a BIOS update. A friend with R7 3700X was getting BSOD with 3600MHz RAM running at 1800 FCLK, but a BIOS update did solve it for him.

This card is fine too. Basically don't get the premium models for any card.

Just make sure that the QVL (Qualified Vendor List) for the motherboard has the RAM model listed. This will be listed on your motherboard's support page.
Note that the QVL is not a comprehensive list, just the ones tested by the manufacturer. OMEGA has some good advice listed (about Gear 1) as well.

Even if it doesn't run at 3600Mhz, you can run tighter timings at 3200Mhz on the same kit (beware of the RAM tuning rabbit hole though). Anything above 3200Mhz doesn't matter much for higher resolutions.

Ryzen 3000 is hit or miss with 3600Mhz RAM. Depends on the silicon lottery (for IF hitting 1800).

For eg., my R5 3600 (2020) doesn't run 3600Mhz RAM stable whatever I try. Loose timings work, but sometimes the PC doesn't boot from a cold start, the memory debug LED comes on.

Not sure if you have already got all the stuff you needed.
I did a personal build out after many years recently

Ended up getting the following bog standard i5-12400, MSI b660, 32GB RAM (16X2)
On the bits that usually see a lot more back & forth, I ended up selecting a Silverstone Fara H1M (White) because extremely good VFM
A deepcool pm750D gold PSU 750W (strongly recommended by the reseller - i trust that fella)
A Zotac 3060ti - specifically because less driver woes, DLSS truly works (and this is very important) and also because the RTX series lets you game remotely on a tab or phone by streaming straight from a framebuffer level (rather than reencoding the o/p which the others do)

On the last part (GPU), 2 other additional considerations - I had zero intent of trying to anything over a locked 60fps.
While I won't get into a debate on this but to me (and i think for most noncompetitive gamers), a higher res at a framelocked 60 is the sweet spot. I'd any day take 2160p/60 over 1080p/144

This also segues into your choice of monitor. I personally feel that a 4k/60 monitor makes a lot more sense for both general purpose usage as well as non competitive gaming.
And while lower res but HRR monitors are surely useful for competitive / dedicated gamers, the oft seen mob mentality in geek circles creates a situation that HRR monitors are oft recommended blindly to anyone who even mentions the word gaming.

Also, on a side note, DM me if you are interested in a 3060ti. A friend has upgraded and wants to dispose of it. I'd have taken his but unfortunately i came to know if it after finishing my build

Prices you got?

For gamers I will recommend a good gaming 1440p 144Hz monitor over 4K 60Hz because of stuff like VRR (gsync/freesync), response time & colours (some cheap 4K monitors are not as good) as well, other than refresh rate. I personally play SP games at 70+fps, why 70 because it helps me keep the 1% low fps near 60fps or above.

VRR - once you get used to it, tough to go back, unless you use v sync to lock fps to say 60, where you know your rig can output higher than 60fps for 1% low. In this case, why not savour the extra smoothness of 70-80fps.

144Hz - Again, once you get used to this, tough to get back. Most gamers will have games that can run at 100+fps on a mid-range rig. So when that is possible, why not use it? For FPS games, 100fps looks very smooth & try to get that. Also for normal browsing & all, it looks smooth. I have 165Hz monitor & my phone is 120Hz. My office laptop at 60Hz looks laggy to me. Jumping from 60Hz to 144Hz is more prominent than jumping from 144Hz to 240Hz (diminishing returns).

27" 1440p has enough ppi for most. Monitors like Acer XV272U KV at 25k are an excellent value for money choice for gamers easily. With time, 4K 120/144Hz monitors will get cheaper. 4 years back, 1080p 144Hz was 20-22k.
