PC Peripherals New Corsair GS 600 feature or issue ?

Greeting Friends !!!!!!!
yesterday i got My corsair GS600 rma'ed 4th time and this time i got a newer version of GS 600.
today i installed it in my pc and started the computer and then this thing happen.
the cooling fan started with a loud noise and the stopped with in sec :23:
but the weird thing is that it was able to supply power properly to my RIG.
even now i am working on that smps.

I call Corsair toll free no. and a lady picked up the call.
i told her the problem and first she told me that currently technical guy is not present but then told me to wait and was she had a talk with some guy.
after that she told me that GS600 dont come with fan :scared14:
I told her I am talking about SMPS cooling fan and then again she had a talk with the same guy and replied that now a days ever corsair smps have this feature that when Fan is needed that time only it will start.
using smps for last 30 min but the cooling fan hasn't move yet :no2:

So guy's is this a issue or new feature in corsair smps ?????

Fan in GS600 is temperature and load sensitive. It will rotate only after certain amount of load and temperature.
But if it is spinning with loud sound, then it's a problem. RMA the unit.

As per this the fan is not supposed to run at loads below 200W. If it spins for a second during power up it indicates the fan is working. Seems normal.

Thank god it's normal !!!!!!!
This features I think they have introduced in the 2013 edition
Before this i had Rma 3 times but never got this new edition.
Good to here about it and yes my system is consuming less than 200 watt as no graphic card installed and i am on IGP :/
