Had gone to imagine in bangalore to buy iPod touch 2G.They told me that it will take 15-20 days to reach here.They say price is going to be in range of 14k +few hundred rupees :@ .
 
yeah thats what i said...i hope the grey market price is lower tho, but sad the price drop is not really gonna effect here....would be better to get a ipod touch 2g from US or smthn..229 $ =9847 Rs
 
any real idea WHEN the new ipod touch will be available in india?

i went to the apple store ("imagine") in pune today, they are still selling the old model at the old price... i almost bought the old 16gb model by mistake without checking, only stopped to ask/check because of the higher price (Rs 24k) and realised it :D

edit: oh the link posted earlier says they're coming in october :(
 
@vishalrao - Dude when u go to get a iPod ping me too. Will get one of them new nano's Am pissed off of my current MP3 player.
 
sure, i'm planning on getting it from "imagine" at mariplex (gold adlabs) or the store in nucleus mall - will be calling them every weekend to find out when they get it :D

:D just called them again now, they say it will take another week to ten days, but not sure if that's just a bogus estimate
 
alfa price is 10k and croma for 9700. alfa definately increases prices during diwali i have noticed for sure, plus alfa has lost its crown for being the cheapest seller now

can someone post the official all-inclusive price of the ipod touch in india (djmykey in pune?), im in london for a few days will be checking out this weekend, will buy if i can get VAT waiver :ohyeah:

Hey I am looking to buy a Nano. At a reliance store the nano 4GB was going for 7800. This seems too good to be true. Am I missing something?

EDIT - Just saw, different models.
 
^^ There's no 4GB version of the NEW Nano, so that price might be for the previous Gen. Nano aka Fat Nano.
 
More like a slim and flat nano. It was nano 3rd gen. IMO it looked better than these.

SO I assume it would be safe to buy it from ebay. WHat say?
