(NO GPUs) 'How much can I sell this for?' thread

Not pointing towards anybody, but I feel the contribution (of those who used to suggest the selling price) has reduced to the level where this thread is loosing its importance after this thread has been moved to "Member's Market" and the post is not counted in your number of posts.

This thread needs persons who know the current market price of the items, many ppl donot know about the current MRP of items posted here. So less replies and also we need to improve perks for the genuine repliers in this thread. If ppl who ask here, can post with current MRP of their items then I think replies to their query will increase.

How much for a 10 month old Nokia N8, box piece, I seem to have misplaced the bill! :-(

PS Does having the bill matter a lot? Is the Nokia phone warranty database is online?

Guys, need some advice..

I have a almost dead Dell XPS m1530. By almost dead, I mean, its GPU has gone bad, and due to that, it doesn't boot up most times. However, on a good day, it would just start without a hitch and run normal. I checked with Dell Customer care and they are not ready to replace the faulty GPU, but want to change the whole motherboard. The cost of replacement with one year warranty on the whole laptop is quoted to be ~18K. Other than that the laptop has been maintained well, without any major scratches or marks.

This is a 3 year old device with following specs:
-Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T7250 2.0GHz, 2MB Cache, 800 MHz FSB
-15.4" Widescreen WXGA (1280x800) TFT Display with TrueLife(TM)
-3GB (1x2GB+1x1GB) 667MHz SDRAM
-160GB SATA Hard Drive
-256MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) 8600M GT (<-- Faulty)
-Internal 8X DVD+/-RW Combination Drive with dual layer write capabilities
-Finger Print Reader
-Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945 Dual Band 802.11a/g 54Mbps Wireless Mini Card
-6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery
-S-Video and HDMI out ports

I have two options now, either to sell it off in the condition its in right now.. or to get the motherboard replaced first and then sell it with 1 year warranty..

Can you guys please help me decide the best price for both the options?

Bump.. please help me here..

Even if you get motherboard replaced, nobody will buy that laptop for even 18k as we are getting new laptops with current gen processors in that price range, so either get it repaired and use it at home/give to relatives or sell the dead laptop as it is, i guess some TE member used to buy dead laptops.

How much can I sell the following for:

1. Blackberry 8520 - Unlocked - Very Good condition - Bought 12/12/10 - 10 Months warranty left

2. Nokia E71 - Good condition - Out of warranty
