it belonged to a friend who wanted to know its worth in both conditions before selling it out to another friend of mine.
anyways sold it today for 300 to someone needy, lowest cost of repair was 200.
will be getting another monitor tomorrow for the other friend.
@gannu, your pricing was very generous for samsung CRTs which usually last 7-10years or forever . but people buy with respect to the cheapest available.. nonetheless, a good product gone to a needy person.
