Nope, i tried that and got back ddr2 only.

Depends on model, age, warranty. Expect 10k. New ones sell for around 14-15k.

Plain common sense, go for the one with Warranty. Also check if you can get a RTX 2060, would be same in performance but power efficient. Someone is selling it for 20k.

really...2060 with 6gb will give same performance as 1080 8gb. I thought 2070 matches/outperforms that.

1080 beats 2060 by 20%. If you are getting 1080 at a good rate go for it else 2060. It all depends how much you are spending..

Anything above 18k for a 1080 is not worth it. Prices will depreciate more once 3000 series cards come back in stock.

yeah...but no one sells for that price..that too in warranty or even without warranty.

1080 beats 2060 by 20%. If you are getting 1080 at a good rate go for it else 2060. It all depends how much you are spending..

In newer games 2060 is faster than 1080.

Depends - if it is machine learning, even a basic turing card with tensor cores kills everything pascal. For rendering, the pascal card will be better.

The other thing to be aware is that Pascal is now a 2 gen old architecture that doesn't support async compute and nvidia probably won't optimize drivers for it. So things will only become worse with time.
