Nokia n8 or iphone 3gs or......??

hi people,
Getting enough of my xperia x10i ,i now plan to buy a new phone..
But the thing is which one to buy?:S
i have budget for 26k

PS:I hate the samsung galaxy S (its a personal opinion )

IMHO, Black looks the most sober followed by Silver (Grey).

Other colours are very loud & should be bought only if u want ur phone to scream "LOOK, I AM HERE" for you!! :P

yea agree due to office i end up buying dark grey otherwise green is nice

i wanted to buy desire hd but reason i bought n8 was because the day i came to know desire hd does not have front cam for video call same day i planned for n8

Go for the N8. I suggested my friend in Jammu to pick up 1. He's loving every minute of it's usage. These Iphones are freakishly delicate & useless. You can install & do shitloads of stuff with the symbian OS. It's a really good OS. Also the N8 has lots of accessories. Trust me, the camera is way better then on any of the Iphones. This i realised after using a Nokia N82 & my couz using an Iphone 3gs. We both did a lot of clubbin in Mumbai & click a lots of snaps ( recently went for the God himself - Armin Van Buuren). The Iphone sucks donkeys B****. I can't understand that when you pay so much for a phone they can't even put a decent camera in it?? It's a just a freakin money making scam thanks to all that proprietary junk. If you want VFM, go the n8 & don't look back. Also the Iphone 3gs costs a bomb if anythin happens to it after the warranty period.

no point saying this n8 is good and iphone is bad because each device has its own pro and cons. but at price n8 is comming if its 80% near or equal to iphone its a big win for n8 and nokia because price is way low and quality is awesome

Awryt i just tried the n8 today...

And except for the camera nothing could match an android or an apple experience..!!

Total dissapointment...!

The interface reminds me so much of nokia 5800 and honestly anfter using the apples and androids this isnt what i was looking for.

In my humble opinion it was a total epic phail.

The guys at the nokia were saying we have got some serious issues with the out going lot.

they didnt disclose though

But as of now am keeping the x10 as it is a more worthy investment than purchasing an n8.

strange because i have used iphone too and now using n8 lol sad to see u dont know that difference between 5800 and n8 touch buit quality overall features speed and screen lol

I told u it's epic fail . It's not a long term investment . Ull soon see used n8s selling on eBay just like the n97.is am trying to get my hands on the Samsung focus Will update u on how windows 7 is .

LOL jumping from android and iOS to Symbian is like driving Nano after trying out Merc and BMW

yea this is correct and i 100% agree with u symbain is no match to any of these os. my point is hardware and quality is not bad in n8 and it not at all like 5800 nor screen nor touch lol

Android and Symbian are poles apart in their approach to mobiles. You can't call Symbian a fail.. its just different.

Android = Web first

Symbian = Phone first

Both have widgets , Android has free floating ones , Symbian has locked slots. Under the menu , both are application icons with Symbian arguably having better app management via folders.

So at the end of the day , its what appeals to you. I would seriously refrain from calling Symbian an 'epic fail'

Also... hardware wise , the N8 cannot be beat. At 22k or so... you can't find a better hardware package. Hell go higher still and even then in hardware terms you can't find a better package. Software ofcourse is something which is upto ones own liking.

This ofc is my opinion but i seriously think the Symbian hate is over hyped.

yea my dream of buying desire hd ended when i saw a 40k is fail for me because no front camera sad and crap
