whatever gave u an idea that we are not serious when we say that we are gonna buy one? let me know if i can is all am asking....
 
vandal whoa 16.6 for a 19 lcd btw whats the resolution this stuff supports? more importantly can this play games with full fledge with my 6800u cuz if it supoprts too much high res 6800u might give problems... how does 1024 by 768 looks in it? do lemme know i might buy one as well and lemme know if i'm down in the priority list ;) or up :P.

Vandal, Please post the pics of the LCD and I will also upgrade from my 740N if the price is really 16-17K,LOL.So u have 2 orders from Hyderabad now :ohyeah:

It is a very common knowlede that NewEgg prices will be about 10 ~ 20 % lower then locally for nearly all the products. do you think i would post such "knowledge" here ??:no: ....even my KG going daughter knows that ....:( :bleh:

Re _ read my above post and then think in terms of "Dumping" , "excess Production /supply" , "technical obsolence" , "new innovation / technologies" ...

Hint For You: The DVD writers listed here at 6K 18 to 24 months ago ...today they are for around 2.4K ....and might soon go the cdrom way ....

ps: For making me type all this , the next time we meet you will have to treat me to some vada pav's + tea ....and i will get my own plate and cup a.k.a. aditya (GF) way ....:D

1) Need pics of the lcd :P

2) Need to know about ghosting, performance in games and dvds

3) a review if possible. :)

Orders can be taken for the LCD. Will confirm exactly what the dealer will give it at (since he knows me well through digit and a fellow TE pal ;) )

brought a few pics on my cell, and forgot the data cable :@
17" 740N should cost ya 12.3K...
@ this monitor is great, even better than a CRT for gaming; I am an LCD believa now! I cannot believe the clarity, playing WC 3 frozen throne (for the 10th time), Spellforce 2 shadow wars and NFS undrgrd 2. Sadly it sucks a bit at VCD's maybe due to the resolution. DVD's look great though. Although the manual claims 4ms, I suspect its more like 8 (B to B).

Oh and expect a review of my monitor and mousepad "officially" next month. Most of you will figure out what the quotes mean, those who don't well :P
