Vcds look like crap are due to the generally lower bitrate and quality of mpeg1. There's nothing to worry about.

BTW is it normal for VCD's to look bad on this monitor? AVI's n DVD's look decent, mostly 16:9 stuff looks really good. Games rock.. I can see more of the surroundings due to the widescreen giving me an edge in fps's mostly.
@ no lag in most games, except FEAR.
