1080p is still the standard and will continue to be for years to come so you have nothing to worry about. Because getting decent fps at higher resolution even 1440p come at a high price, monitor costs as well as the graphics cards. For graphics card a used 3060Ti is in a good spot right now for 1080p. They can be seen going for around 14-17k depending on the variant. If you can stretch to 20k or so you'll be able to grab a 3070Ti. But don't go for the 3060. Despite the higher memory it's an inferior model.I’m still running a 1070 and it’s good enough for 1080p gaming. Is everyone gaming in 4k these days? Does everyone have a 4k monitor now? Am l stuck in the past or something?
Thank you. The 100% of that 3060ti vs my 1070’s 57% seems like a worthwhile upgrade, especially for 14m. Do I have any options on the AMD side for similar price and performance?1080p is still the standard and will continue to be for years to come so you have nothing to worry about. No just a piece of shit, one that you can't buy.Of course the 5070 was going to be another piece of shit, we all expected nothing less.
Man, Nvidia must have lost a bet where the loser had to release and market the 50 series like it is right now![]()
Haha from 'Liar Liar'Didn't watch the video, but nice thumbnail. Did not realize initially that that wasnt Jim Carrey ( Tiny version on right side).
Thats an old nvidia trick. Value cards (relatively) usually have low VRAM and don't last well.Haha from 'Liar Liar'
Jensen is a scumbag.
Fun fact: When Ampere launched, the 3080Ti was supposed to launch with 20 GB of VRAM (for the same MSRP that the final 12 GB version launched at). The card was produced and shipped to some retailers. At the last minute, Nvidia decided to lower the VRAM and recalled all the cards, probably because people wouldn't buy the 3090 for the ridiculous asking price, given the 3090 was only 5% faster than the 3080 Ti sans VRAM.
Except the 3080Ti was FAR from a value cardThats an old nvidia trick. Value cards (relatively) usually have low VRAM and don't last well.
Did not understand when i first bought my 1050 2gb. Only understood it after buying 3080, but atleast DLSS turned out to be good to make up for it vs 6800xt.
Yes, its all relative, as you said vs 3090.Except the 30
Except the 3080Ti was FAR from a value card
Lol correct, compared to the 3090, the 3080Ti looks like a GT710 in price discrepancy (not performance)Yes, its all relative, as you said vs 3090.
Traditionally, a 70 series SKU would at least match (or come close to) the 80 series SKU of the previous gen in pure native performance.Of course the 5070 was going to be another piece of shit, we all expected nothing less.
