I’m still running a 1070 and it’s good enough for 1080p gaming. Is everyone gaming in 4k these days? Does everyone have a 4k monitor now? Am l stuck in the past or something?
1080p is still the standard and will continue to be for years to come so you have nothing to worry about. Because getting decent fps at higher resolution even 1440p come at a high price, monitor costs as well as the graphics cards. For graphics card a used 3060Ti is in a good spot right now for 1080p. They can be seen going for around 14-17k depending on the variant. If you can stretch to 20k or so you'll be able to grab a 3070Ti. But don't go for the 3060. Despite the higher memory it's an inferior model.
