How is the second hand market at the moment? What’s the going rate for out of warranty pascal? Cards like 1060/1070/1080 should be decently affordable right?

"decently affordable" hahaha check out the FS section yourself.
Yeah, saw a 1070 for 20k and I was ROFL. Then someone suggested in another thread to sell Zotac 2060 for 30k and I am like who is going to buy it at that price and it was for a used 2 year old GPU.

It sucks but the sellers are not wrong lol. There is always someone out there who will pay for it. For eg. RX 570 without warranty was available for 5-6k (I know it's a rare deal) and now GTX 1050Ti costs 7.5k lol.

In a market based economy, scarce resources should go to one's with higher purchase power at higher market prices.

Lol

Post say it all - don't know how many will actually get it

It might work.
3. We will choose people as per the card they've picked up and pick the names through a lucky draw to keep it fair and unbiased.
4. You can try for multiple cards if you like but can only buy one card for which your name comes out first!

The main reason these cards are selling at these outrageous prices are because of these distributors like Acro in the first place. This is nothing but just a marketing stunt.

F**k this bullsh*t, I'd rather continue using an older GPU than participate in raffles for getting one, this market has gone nuts.

Lol. Acro must know that fb gaming groups are more popular than forums now so they must have taken this opportunity to gain some traction for their group. But there are many who are desperate for gpu's so they are gonna take part in the raffles.
I got selected in it!
Good for you. I just want to buy a used RTX 2000 series at a reasonable price and not upgrade for the next 3-4 years.

2060 was available for 22k I think here from Zotac if that works for you ...

Ya will be a worthy upgrade if i can get it, will update if and when i get it.

Is that pre-mining surge or post- price?
RTX 2060 from Zotac or Inno3D has always retailed around the 25K mark before lockdown. I remember two of my friends buying 1660 Super from Gigabyte for 19k when I suggested them for RTX 2060. Then it was retailing for 24.5K.
