I really feel anyone getting the 10gb 3080 is a waste...rather wait for the 20gb one (or Navi.) 10gb is limiting.....IMHO.

Yeah, most getting the 3080 will probably be looking towards 2k or higher resolution work/gaming. The 10GB will be limiting in most cases is what I feel, skyrim mods for example. IIRC Nvidia had did dirty during the GTX 970 release with 3.5GB available VRAM. I think they might release the larger VRAM models very soon after the initial release.

Its worse. We can always get a quote . Thumb rule to calculate landed cost including import duty is us price x 115. Suppose item cost is $500 in usa, then our landed cost will be 55,000 to 60,000

I had a colleague in office who bought a 2080ti from msi, the lightening version or something for 1.15 lakhs just this April. Imagine, if nvidia halves the price. I would love to see his face.
