If you do decide on doing this, please do it as a pre-order. So that you have a better idea of how much and what model one needs. Also if you do this, would there be warranty issues ?

If it's postponed they should've informed us like before instead of wasting our time. Also very much possible that they scalped it themselves and are doing a fake sale. I know from few retailers that they do sell some of the cards outside.

Pre order/group buy kinda thing is nice. Not sure if it'll work out in the case. People will have different budgets and want different cards. But depending on what cards can be sourced, something can be worked out.

well we can have group based on budget and model ,whats the point of having a forum ,n numbers of thread rant thread all of it and still cant pull off something on our own ? when we actaully have people who have the abilities and the know how how to get things done

Trying to talk to my cuz in Singapore. Let me some jugaad. Import duties are very high, so seeing if any one with iec code can buy for us and rebill. One carton is more than sufficient.
This will be a great initiative.
this is the best time sirji to earn kuch jugaad karlo from taipei itself ,RX series & RTX series 2-3 hajar extra lelo

Anyone who can import in bulk for a small premium as well will do.

Just that first confirm if you can import under the name of your biz. so customs wont harass you.
  • Open a GO/group thread here.
  • Take some 15-25% or so in advance from interested members to ensure order is fixed. (ensure per person/id only single card/order)
  • Also, ensure that person shouldn't back out in middle of imports asking for advance amount refund stating he managed to get the card locally elsewhere though it should be purely at Ops discretion wihtout affecting other peoples imports.
  • State if only one gpu variant/version cartoon can be executed at a time or a mix of 2-3 variants is possible as well to cater everyones needs. (3060/3070/3080 etc.) Or whichever flavor has high demand that can be fulfilled initially to get a taste of such sales.
  • Decide on the brand (better to get the one offering cheaper price yet has brand loyalty)
  • Plan accordingly.
  • Define estimated time etc.
  • For buyer, be patient and trust the op.
  • And if for some reason or delays or situation gets beyond ones control, OP must refund the advance amount honestly without any tantrums and lame excuses.
  • Provide Warranty and RMA process info as well. And if the card requires shipping abroad for warranty then see if op can help in this regards.
  • **Lastly Miners here should strictly rather honestly stay away from such sales!
Once this gets executed successfully, we really do not have to rely on such crap rptech fake sales and waste our entire day and night in some dreamy hopes.

I know its easy to say but also not at all impossible if someone is really willing to help on this through his biz channel..

Are the cards available at normal prices in Singapore? If it's scalper prices then it might not make sense

That, my man is very well thought out. I agree though about taking an advance, though i would probably argue for a higher percentage. 20 to 25 percent would make more sense. Also reduce the burden on the person who organizes something of this magnitude. 2 or 4 cards is one thing but I easily foresee over a dozen or two folks would jump in. This way only the serious buyers will sign on.

I was going to add 25-30% only but given the start even 15% makes sense and not to forget not all of us are richie richs and biggies and many more I know keep saving for months to get their hands on some component upgrade. I can even give 50% advance but then it wont be uniform. So as a baseline I mentioned 10-15% whichever works great as per the best interest of the importer.

First ww have to decide which card to get
And which make. I will make a poll and add some options.

I see your point mate and i realize not everyone would ask for a 3080 or a 3090. I also realize most of us would be slowly collecting money over a few months to afford one of these. But I was also looking at it from the point of view of the importer. It doesn't make sense to increase the financial burden on him as he would have to buy it before hand. I am also fairly sure most people would be easily able to afford a 20% to 30% advance and pay the remainder when the cards arrive. Logically, if one was looking forward to the sale today in hopes to score a card, it would stand to reason that person already has the financial wherewithal to afford such a card and have the funds available.

Just my 2c

Looking forward to it my man,
