assuming you mean his super pi screenshot , his fastest time is listed next to 1m isnt that enough ?

naa not enough, pi_rec.dat2 in superpi directory stores all these scores. very easy to cheat, just copy the folder to any pc and run pi, score will always remain that of the lowest run.

You know i am a n00b.

And almost no one ever posts stock runs even for a basic idea of what a platform is capable of on it's own.

It forms a baseline and also is a nice eye-opener at times.

A stock run, that too on a really old XP install, took me alongside numbers posted from 3.7G+ rigs. :S

So maybe it was worth the extra money over a E5200+G31, for a non-OCer ie. :lol:
