The board can do a bit more IINM :p VX450 sure provide more juice for oC :p

the speed being displayed is only on the 1st core (kept 2nd core a little slower although it was as fast as the 1st one... but just to avoid any artifacts :p)

chip doesn't go much above 3.8GHz with all 4 cores

so kept multiplier 16x for 2nd, 15.5x for 3rd and 4th. while 1st was on 16.5x

AMD AOD is a gr8 piece of utility to OC precisely from within windows

hoping to improve the score via stripped XP version later :)

*about stability tests :)

cant post OCCT since it doesn't stress the other two cores

bt prime95 works..

will post the same this weekend :) for both OC n undervolt :)

Last run before shifting :p Just got bored from project so did this ;) Will post more scores once I am done shifting .. Ohh and this is the limit for the board even with AOD :(

P.s : Mandav got better scores due to better ram and higher HTT , I cannot do ore than 225 in Ha07 :(

try with single ram chip.. it may OC a lil better..

i will try my luck again tomorrow :p

n yes... the ram i got can do 1000Mhz with ease.. :)

PS: VCore seems to be too much as per what i can see in AOD...

im doing fine at 1.475V which is also beyond limits for the chip..

try OCing individual core..(reduce multiplier for one)

It does help a little... my 2nd core wasn't so stable above 3859MHz at 1.475 so kept is a notch lower (i did Stability tests in AOD and calculation test failed)

see if u can do better OC on any specific core and then assign the affinity to that core for superPi

PS: im not able to go beyond ~3960 since my board doesn't support above 125W

i will try my luck with 790GX 128M when i get one

Update: Err just revisited Biostar cpu support link for GXBE...specifications state max TDP support = 125W ... and they have two 140W chips under supported list :p (left hand doesn't know what right hand is doing)

^^yea the poor man owns HX1000|VX , bunch of ultra low latency rams and plethora of killer hardware :p
