Its just that the console has more fun games when compared to the PC.

PC Gamer : Love the concept of one Machine that does everything
Console Gamers : Love the ease of consoles and love different gadgets to do Different things .
Other way i see it..
PC Gamers : Love the whole package in a woman the brains and looks ..we keep just one
Console Gamers: Loves the wife at home but needs a little secretary action 2 to keep him content .

how on earth can someone attribute lack of time as an excuse?? if u have time to play on a console, you have time to play on a pc.. period..
and one thing i reckon nd which is pretty much true for the x360 and the ps3 is that u WILL always end up getting a lot more VFM for a pc on which u might have spent a comparable amount of cash.. this becomes all the more true wen comparing a pc to a ps3..
afaik u wanna game seriously wid all the eye candy set to high/wanna have access to by far the LARGEST catalog of games.. go for the pc! wanna have some fun go for the wiiiiiii.. wanna blow some cash, go for the ps3.. wanna have a decent gaming experience go for the x360

IMHO its more a question of attitude and priorities.
When i was in college, i used to play UT2k4 and CS all the time. all my time went to tweaking stuff and getting that last 1 fps out of it , i mean, i had all the time in the world , and anything was more interesting than boring assignments and going to class. Besides, was broke , and i think a lot of those rooting for PC games are those who parents wont buy them the latest game CD or cant afford it/ on the other hand can grab it for free off P2P
the same thing goes for our rigs, most of our rigs and internet were bought citing "education" :lol: and graphics cards based all those CAD/Graphical design stuff *all* engineering students have :rofl:, or at least thats the story our parents bought.
fast forward to post college, work sorta changes everything, priorities , the whole thing. Now i have less free time , on the other hand , lots of spare $$$$ , besides, i can spend it whichever way i please
20k for a gaming console is now solely my decision. no more parents to "20k just to play games?? hmmmf!* same thing for cd's . Another difference is that by now we're used to having things done for us . We have an entire army of sysadmins /facilities/security working so that our time gets to be spent most productively. So even at home , the same set of priorities kick in. Last month, i had a choice between setting up mythbuntu on my dad's rig and working out how to make the remote work/ buy a pctv pro + MCE . In college i would have chosen the former , but now priorities have changed, and the latter solution won.
the same thing applies for gaming as well. When i get home , i just play a few rounds of NFS , a few circuits , and browse TE , and go to sleep. Its fun, in fact i'll be buying an X box 360 controller to prepare for the transition to consoles. i havent even bothered installing UT2k4, something i used to practise religiously
i think if you look at the console gaming crowd , it will be a vastly different demographic. If my circumstances changed back to college student, i'd go back to PC games in an instant , but for now....
