this is my first attempt at critising someone else`s photo so please excuse me.

i am just focusing on composition of the images right now.

here i have pointed two things the area of composition and position to shoot

why the image got so dull may be the focus of the camera went to the tree and the land in foreground more and took shine away from the bahai temple.

i amy be missing something else but i am also a newbie in photography but this is how you can learn right.

there may be some setting on camera wrong which is beyond my point right now.

Thanks for your input guys... The pic was taken on my way back after buying the cam... I just wanted to take some good shots... I didnt go inside the temple... Just took the pic fom outside boundry... I need to work a lot more on the photography skills.... The damm manual of the cam is so big that i fall asleep reading it... Woulkd really love to learn more... Thanks a lot again...

@easy... Thanks pal... You given me something for bragging rights...

@medpal... thanks for the input...

No I did mean it for Switch the original picture was his.

You want my steps... simple... Photoshop CS2 ... press...

1> Shift/Ctrl/L
2> Alt/Shift/Ctrl/L
3> Shift/Ctrl/B
Then go to Filter and select Sharpen

nice pics.
Switch really try your hands at photoshop. You can make wonders with it.
And rather than using auto colour and RGB balance play with it manually. Manually try changing R,G and B levels.
It will revive the photos that went bad.

Here is my try on your pic ;)

eazy look what i have done to your image you took photo of an ornament and i made it a portfolio image for a jeweller.

now if someone can teach me how to make a light shadow falling on this ornament to make it glow would look stunning.

thanks in advance.
