Poorly rated/less popular game you loved most.

8.8 by Gamespot. hmmm
Anyone heard about 'Breakneck', amazing car racing game. You can race on both day and night. Different environment and locations. Different seasons too. You can spill oil, fire rockets, use nails against opponents (so can they).I enjoyed it more than NFS MW. Gamespot gave it 6.7 (fair).
Lol...I was going with the "less popular" thing :p Anyways, Psychonauts didn't get that much attention/sales that it deserved :)

Has anyone heard of Insurgency, a source mod? It's a gem very few people have played. People who have any source game can download and try it. Awesome awesome game.

Another game I liked was Freedom Fighter.

Railroad Pioneer - It is a good game that never got a decent review. Building stations, tracks, bridges, exploring areas, setting up stations, doing trade and a lot more. In short this game had a lot to offer. The best part was looking at the trains with smoke coming out of chimneys travel between stations.

I-Ninja - This game got a good review for it console counterpart but was never reviewed for PC when it was later ported. Furthermore when Mini Ninjas came out I found that very few people know about I-Ninja. This is a hilarious game with borrowed gameplay elements from Fight Night, Prince of Persia, Spiderman, Monkeyball, Sonic etc., Each of the those borrowed elements were used well in different situations. To top it all it was a very good port with only one draw back you require a gamepad with analog sticks.

Ghost Temple - Bought it for Rs.199/- only :p thinking it would be just another budget horror title. The only thing I found bad in this game is, it didn't support gamepads, nothing joy2key couldn't fix. The ambience in the form of sound and graphics is represented well. The combat was a bit clunky but overall a good game.

Played Insurgency around March-April 2009, used to have a sad gfx card back then and even then really liked insurgency, left it as didn't have any servers close by, pings were 250+

Back in college, I used to play soldat a lot. A simple 2d shooter game, but was insanely addictive when played multiplayer

Little Fighter 2 .... I played it for hours 'n' hours :) .... and it is FREE :p
Wow, Little Fighter 2 was an awesome little game!! It was made by two brothers from HongKong.

My fav low rated game was IGI 2: Covert Strike. I absolutely loved this game when I first played it. It was my favorite game for a long time.
Someone mentioned James Bond: Nightfire. Must agree, that was also a very fun game.
Another favorite of mine is Hitman 2: Silent Assassin. This is my favorite of the series and have played it multiple times.

Dante's Inferno - the game is awesome. i am sure peeps who loved GOW3 and games in the hack-n-slash genre would love this one. Must try IMO. :)

There is a free game called 'Wilkanoid'.Just 5 MB. It's a simple casual game, but you will love it . I loved its music. Neither it is rated nor popular.
A NES game which was a rage among us friends in my childhood was B-Wings. Donno whether it was popular or rated well.

Rise of the argonauts.... Its an RPG set in the Greek mythic world.... An excellent game based on UE3 and published by codemasters. It somehow did not receive the attention it deserved....

Yes. Failed to mention that because the constant crashing issue on the PC ruined the game's experience. It was decent I would say. Nothing great, but certainly worth one play through.

Hey remembered about another game Freedom Fighters. Anybody played that? I had played it long time back when I was in college and it was a blast. The graphics were cartoony, but really good. The gameplay was pretty good too. Remembered about it after reading about the article on its sequel Homefront on Kotaku.

I did, wasn't it a third person shooter? Anyone played Devastation? It was a fps with a huge array of guns, was cool at that time...

Played that one; and managed to finish it in the second attempt, had got stuck on some level in the first. The story was good, but I somehow resented the Freedom Phantom going back to the same hideout after every mission. Otherwise, gameplay was great.

Another good game was "KISS - Psycho Circus The Nightmare Child". You play as 4 different characters which are modelled on the band members of KISS. The weapons were good, gameplay was like any other FPS, monsters were more like robots, atmosphere was eerie.
