OC & Modding Post your overclocks !

Overclocked my Asus Radeon 9600 XT ( stock 500 / 300 ) to 560 / 325 :eek:hyeah:
Using Omega driver 2.6.05a drivers ( ATI Tool Software for the OC'ing ) :hap2:

I used Rivatuner while OC'ing my 9800Pro.

Got better OC with it than ATI Tool ;)

Hey Guys,

I am new to this forum and still finding my way around.... But Darkie, how the hell did you get such high speeds??? Are you using Water cooling or Liquid Nitrogen cooling???

It is certainly amazing.

Give me some hints on how to get that speed.

nah. I think he did it with stock cooler.
And on A8N SLI, its really piece of cake. He dropped the multiplier from 10 to 7. And he must have dropped divider to DDR266.
MY CPU will boot at even 2.8Ghz but it wont run any benchmarks, will just freez if i try to run 3dmark. 2.7Ghz is stable though.

Well i did this with Stock cooler. Also as funky mentioned,i relaxed the RAM as i dont have High Performance RAM that i can run 1:1 ;)

Here's my attempt last week. Not much though but what do you expect me to achieve with stock cooler and crappy Ram

Also instead of asking me about overclocking,it would be better if you ask Funky because he has watercooling and all.

BTW Funky,
Since you have Water cooling/XP90 and some high persormance RAM,you are in a position to OC to some insane levels.
Please try out no.
Let us know how much you can go with that setup.
I am desperate to see that. ;)

unfortunately the chip seems to be limited at 2.75Ghz.
It will boot at up to 2.9 but it is not stable.
WIll most likely get sandiago when it comes. For now this seems to be chip limit. Motherboard can go much higher and so can the RAM.
My p4p800Dlx will run this RAM at insane speeds 1:1. But that is northwood in there known to oc well.

Here is what i tried last night.

This is done using Generic Hynix RAM. :S

I would say this is very good for a generic RAM. ;)

ya that remainds me of my Hynix I used to own. For such cheap RAM it went over 250Mhz on my old P4. I still have it in that machine. Somehow if you are lucky to own original Hynix, its known to overclock very well.

Well guys ,
Here is something to make this thread alive again,

Congratulations mate! :hap2:

Good effort there darky. now i know why you are absent from the board.;)

ASROCK motherboard.

Asrock k8 combo Z :(. Supports both 939 and 754 ;)

Try updatung your BIOS to the latest version. Even my mobo did not have the AGP PCI locks. Now, after updating the BIOS, I can set my AGP/PCI to 66.66 and 33.33.
