i tested auto(1hr) occt mix, everything is stable with max temp of 48C at full load on both cores
i was able to reach 3.63ghz at 1.25vcore(stock) fully stable and didnt try anything further at all, but in gta4 benchmark i just found improvement of 1fps (meh) so i came back to 3.3ghz where i got an increase of 7 fps + undervolt (gr8 for my 24x7 stuff) as compared to that on stock speeds at 2.6ghz where is was getting 29fps
Nothing new and nothing record breaking.
This is just to show a GIGABYTE X58 board ( its a Pre-Production more than 2yr old board) is built not just to last overclocks & abuse but next gen CHIPS as well hyeah:
P.S Everything works - 980x as well as EX58-UD5! Also it was with LN2 @ -85c
hi guys, i generally avoid OCing, but today i just tried some on my cousin's sempron 140 & it OC's to 3.44ghz with stock HSF & voltages...though i reduced HT & NB freq to be safe DDR freq slightly..
should i oc it some more, OCCT linpack, prime95 blend, superpi upto 32M runs without any error or BSODs @3.44ghz with temp max at 43c full load & 35c idle.
