AMD XP 2600+ Barton Core (with 333Mhz FSB),
Asus A7N8X-X,
512 MB Kingston K DDR with 333Mhz FSB,
Asus V9520 Magic AGP graphics card with Geforce FX 5200 128 MB,
Samsung dvd drive,
Samsung cd writer,
Samsung 40 gb HDD with 5200 rpm,
Sony floppy drive,
I ball mouse,
I key keyboard,
Usb Canon printer,
Canon scanner,
Logitech webcam,
Mercury 4.1 speakers with 1980 watts,
Ethernet based net connection,
Adcom 3-- watts SMPS,
Local Cabinet
Old is Gold !!!! As long as I dont have ne money to upgrade : :clap:

Thnx for tht...U really its a nice rig ? WOW I'm surprised to say the least.......Oh boy...I am pretty sad abt my rig tho .....but i did the best with the money i had ! Neways...I have been thinkin abt 7,2 rpm myself...Wat do u think is gud ? A maxtor or sumthing else do u thnk ?

It wudnt be advisabel to connect 5,2 and 7,2 rpm together ? is nt it ?

as long as ur rig gets the job done its fine.. :).. I was until recently running a rig very similar to urs for over one and half years.. :D

Seagate Barracuda series are good. they come with 5yr warranty too. and you will NOT have any problems with a 5,400rpm and 7200rpm drive in the same system..
 
But i have heard tht the data tranfer rates are diff for the 2 speeds ? Do u know the exact speed of them ...? PLz tell me if u do !

So u wont advise maxtor ?

Wat can i get for 2 k be it maxtor or seagate ? and wats the gud thing abt barracuda ?
 
I have bought Seagate Barracudas and I am satisfied with them. Hence i recommended them. Maxtor, Hitachi and Western Digital are other companies of good repute too..

Barracuda denoted the 7200rpm line of HDDs from Seagate.

The cheapest drive is a 40GB Seagate Barracuda (am not sure of the prices of drives from other manufacturers) and it costs aroung 2.4k..

2x 80GB S-ATA drives
1xDVD burner 1x DVD drive
DFI LP 875B rev. b (this is the best 478 board out)
 
thats a nice overclock there . if you have any screenshots you should consider posting them in the "post your overclocks" thread ;)
