^^Why is a 500 gb hard disk so expensive? I have seen prices of about 1.7k on the buying thread and the 1tb costs for about 2.5k.

regular hdd. the prices seemed to be up. 1tb was around 2750

Update:

Forgot to mention: I didnt take the risk of buying without bill, i payed 100 Rs extra(50 Rs each extra for cabinet and SMPS) and bought in pc guide with bill. And at pc guide, he reduced 200 Rs on my overall bill to compensate for the minor price differences in some products(like HDD was 25 Rs costlier than p n p, speaker was 25 Rs. costlier etc..)

So, overall i think it was a good deal. :)

You did right thing because the lowest vat on any product apply is 5% and at 2k vat comes to 100Rs so it looks a fishy figure.

DO NOT EXPECT WARRANTY for product without bill & also if product not mentioned without it's own Serial Number or Code on bill.

Woah didn't know 6850 was that cheap under 10k..awesome! And congrats on unlocking to Phenom II X4, but don't be surprised to get a few niggling issues. The cores are locked for the reason that something is not working as well as it should.

In which shop did you get 5770 at 6.5K???
 
It was 3 weeks ago,many shops were giving it for 6.5-6.7k,i dont know about now.{you probably wont find sapphire 5770,some guys were saying then its out of stock}
 
Now many shops in Lamington Road are passing estimates (also known as kachha bill) as bill if you are not careful enough. They look just similar to the tax invoice except some minor differences.

So make sure that the bill provided to you has the dealer's CST/VAT number and tax invoice heading mentioned on it.

Had to check alot of things but damn there is no parking near lammy it took me 45 mins finding parking space.Does someone know some lane where i can easily park(i had to park all he way near dreamland to avoid towing).
