Problem with a PS3 purchased from Imtiaz786

And PS3 is running just fine and for that he is asking 2.5k just for some dents which i dont know how it happened as i packed it nicely in original box which i bought from a store paying Rs.450(shopkeeper was asking 500 but i paid 450) as i didnt mention about original box in the thread but still i gave just to make sure it reaches him safely.......
As its raining here in Guwahati and some trees fell of there was no electricity for pay 10 hours so couldnt reply before and frequent load shedding is happening so place give me some time to reply
@prakhargr8 i will send you the controller usb cable and hdd cover and you said you will pay for SixAxix controller so you dont need to pay and returm me the SixAxix controller as you can keep it.....And i will send them this week ok....

And not for once i told him i would not compensate and i am compensating thats why i told him even before he asked me for return/replacement that i will give him another controller usb cable and hdd cover.......And i dont think ps3 is in so bad condition that he needs compensation of Rs.2500/- as i can buy new ps3 top plastic casing for Rs.2000/- and if that is changed that it becomes new and if he want it than he have to pay 50% of the price for ps3 top plastic cover because if it is changed than the ps3 will become new and to have a new plastic housing he has to pay 50% of its cost as i am already suffering loss relating to controller and shipping(which i dont mind as its my fault)

So you do accept that the product was not 5/5 (mint) condition when you sold it though you mentioned the same in your thread. Its not about how we can make it look mint after sale but its about how we define our product before selling that matters.

Anyways, assuming you are now clear on the facts that the item was not delivered as per what was mentioned @imtiaz786 in the sale thread and that you are ready to compensate the buyer on this, I would like you guys to talk to each other and get an end to this.

Sir i accept that it was not 5/5 but it was not that bad condition that which make it qualify for compensation of Rs.2500 as the ps3 was runing awesome and for that i gave the condition 5/5 but for overall it not low than 4/5.......So i am ready to give the buyer a replacement for controller and usb cable and hdd cover which by mistake was left as i am going through a torrid time as suddenly my driver expired as he doesnt had any relative we had to file FIR and do the Post Mortem so i told my nephew to pack it as i was busy there and i informed to buyer also but he was in so hurry so i couldnt pack it myself hence my nephew packed it......As i told him the my driver died but he couldnt wait for ever 2 days so in hurry hdd cover was left.....
See this as he was in so much hurry that i gave him tracking id in the evening and he messages me saying that the tracking is not working...

As i told him about the incident instead of giving me sometime he was in so hurry so i gave my nephew to pack which i know was my fault to give my nephew to pack but i was also not getting time since you people should know i have to go through legal process as my driver was not married and didnt have any relative so i have to pay his hospital bill, than legal process thanpost mortem than last rites and for his last rites also i had to go to meet pandits and all as i am a muslim so didnt have any idea about the process of last rites by Hinduism so that was also new as i had to run here and there and for which i needed sometime but i know once a buyer pays he/she would be anxious for the product to get delivered as i am from another city and he is from another city.....

And let's not talk about anything but the PS3 deal. What is the point?

And please please please understand that I've acknowledged that I should have asked for more photos since the very beginning. I just wanted you to acknowledge that you were also at fault so we could work together at resolving this.

Anyway, please stop claiming that the PS3 was damaged in transit, since you claimed to have packed it in 'bulletproof' packing - which was not damaged. I can send you photos of the box and packing, if you want. If you look at the photos I've sent (http://imgur.com/a/jyQvs/):
  1. It's NOT even 4/5. Here are examples of 4/5:

  2. There are missing pads, screwdriver/sharpie marks, dents which happen on falling off a table. For this to happen in transit, there would be holes in the box. And even then, the damage would be of a different kind.
I think that the price I'm asking for is very reasonable. I'm not interested in getting the casing since I doubt it will be authentic - bad plastic can lead to overheating and other issues. Regardless, you can point me to a link where this is available for reference and we can talk about that.

About the SixAxis, I insist that I pay you for that. I don't want to keep anything for free. Apart from that I think you'll be shipping the following:
  1. Authentic/Original Dual Shock 3 controller
  2. Missing bit of the Console
  3. USB Cable and any other accessory you may have missed sending (if any)
Can you please confirm?

Yes, I'm definitely not interested in fake housing for the PS3.

So, let's finally settle on the following:
  1. Shipping to me: Authentic/Original Dual Shock 3 controller - 100% functional
  2. Shipping to me: Missing bit of the Console
  3. Shipping to me: USB Cable and any other accessory you may have missed sending (if any)
  4. Money transfer to me, of value = PS3 condition difference - SixAxis's value.
About point 4, I'll look around to find a suggested value which we can discuss then. Let me know when you ship 1 to 3.

After steps 1 to 4 are complete, we can close this topic.

I am ok with step 1-3 but chalao lets see.....if i find here locally anyonce selling only the top part than i will ship it to you or else keep the SixAxis controller and no need to pay me ok....

Yaa for the fourth step i will try to find the top housing of ps3 here locally or else as i am going to kolkata next month i will try to buy it from there and ship it to him as he has problem with top housing of ps3....
 
Sorry. The 4th point is what you should be reading.

1 to 3 is done. Agreed. 4th point. Talk about that. You need to do something the buyer is agreeing on. Not what you think is correct.

But cant pay 2k for that sorry and let him think what what should be right and for that i will discuss with the buyer after that kam basi ho jayega...........But first let me sent the things first....

You might want to clear everything first before going with any partial compensation. Do check with the buyer and decide accordingly

Reach agreement on ALL the 4 points before doing anything. Avoid more issues and headache. You can discuss with the buyer here itself. That's what this thread is meant to be.

Sorry, I would rate it a 2/5.
If reaching an agreement is not possible, then give him a refund and let him ship the product back to you (split the shipping 50-50).

Ok......but 2k is is high so if he wants i can give him controller,hdd cover usb cable and 1000 in cash.......cant go anything more than that......its not that i have to agree everything he should also agree because if he had so much problem than he should have ask for more pics as i have send him the one which i showed in pics(i know my fault of quoting it 5/5) so doing all of this as i want buyer of my product satisfied..........if you agree let me know or whatsap me because its continuously raining and load shedding is going on here in Guwahati....

And sorry for quoting 5/5 as it was my mistake and i am asking the whole community to forgive me please.......(specially to buyer and Respected Mods)....

I again fail to understand your attitude. You agree it was your mistake that you mislead the buyer. You are asking forgiveness, Yet you do nothing that deserves any forgiveness or any show of good faith towards a person who paid you 17000INR BEFORE seeing the item. I am suggesting you to see reason and give the fair price that the buyer is asking you. Rather than going round and round.

Ok ask the buyer to send the ps3 than.......as it will be better.....As new casing of ps3 sells for 2k and i dont want the controller back.......And 2000 is harsh as i have to ship the items too for which another 3-4 hundred will be charges and i dont want the controller back so it brings the total near 2000 only so now buyer will say whatever he wants and not seeing the item pics before buying is not my fault.......So he also has fault so he should also have to come to mutual understanding as i cant sacrifice everything as before paying he should have asked for pics......And i gave 5/5 because its working awesome...(which was my fault) as i gave 5/5 on ps3 working conditon as i should have given product condition considering its overall condition...
