I have not even ordered yet.... :( Had been busy with other stuff....and Modding took a back step...been gaming actually :) Think I will order a bit to try it out, but like you have posted earlier, practice makes perfect so I am sure to take time getting it right. I dont even know which color to add to the blue, white or grey..? Just been thinking and pondering :)

Also I have an extra XSPC rasa 750 kit (RS360 rad), Full Kit unopened, do let me know if its any use to anyone you know. I am not gonna try an add another 360mm to the 800D, as of now.

Anyway good luck and keep the updates coming....

Though we might not reply we are anxiously following the thread

:)

WOW!!!! This thread just blows my mind away :)

Awesome stuff going on, I would love to see CH V and BD CPU mounted alongwith the WC....Guess some benchmarks, OC'in and temps would also come by then :)

With 0 feedback, I continue with this thread in the hope that others will get interested in case modding/liquid cooling:

We are all there dude, just go ahead, your work is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just give us the final pics!!!

Thanks for the comments guys.....final pics will take some time as not all the parts are in yet, but finally the GPU block is back from RMA and I can continue on the water cooling part of the project. The fan controller has just gone for RMA last week, so should take about 2-3 weeks more to come back to me. That means another month of work before it can get completed. The good side is that it gives me more time to work on the other mods. The bad part is cable management will have to wait.

Thanks for your support Jaydip...best of luck on your case mod and let me know if there is anything that I can help with.

No problems man...we all started with small mods sometime in our lives....I still remember my first mod build...I kind of decimated my poor cabinet.

Its been a few days since my last update...so just wanted to show you some of the stuff thats been happening over the last week or so:

Here is my 6950 Powercolor, which I found after a lot of searching as I wanted a reference card, to water cool, unlock and overclock. I finally got it brand new off Ebay

And here is the replacement block in from RMAing the old non EN one:

Looks like they have changed the rubber standoffs to metal screw able ones.... at least they are easier to fit now..on the older design I kept dropping the rubber stand offs.

And here is the block...

Nice. How you managed to get the core top so clean and shinny.

My thoughts exactly. That looks fantastic, could even make a great wallpaper :P

awesome work and i must say that your planning and results are awesome.
you are making it perfect and so clean cut.
lots of inspiration for me.
thanks,
keep it up.

Thanks Pratik and thanks to RD and asingh as well. I hope you guys are enjoying this log as much as I am. Cheers.

Yup it's available but you need to check if yours is a reference design or non ref. also will need the rest of the water cooling stuff along with it

--- Updated Post - Automerged ---

Thanks guys...Here is the rest of the work that happened during the weekend:

This guy is going to get a nice cover soon...so take a long look at him:

Front XSPC Bay res added:

Does not match the rest of the front exactly and I may need to work on a front panel soon....Or I may make a new cover for the res. The silver screws will be going as well. The screws have to match the rest of the build, so silver bolt heads will not work.

Sata power cables done...this is probably more difficult to do then a 24 pin...man it was hard....

I have kept them a bit long to be able to change things around if required. The Sata data cable seems to look not so good...any ideas guys? The sleeve seems to be a bit too stretched..

and some tubing runs for testing...

The 5 way at the rad entry serves as a point to check water temps and also as a drain port...

Well, looks like I hit a road bump again...I dont think I am going to get the heatmaster back..looks like its not in stock at where I bought it from, though it was there when I sent it back for RMA...anyway I may get the money back on it in a few days. I was wondering if the FC5V2 is the way to go. Ofcourse I cannot control the pump anymore, but its more or less silent. I guess I will have to go back to a fan controller for now...

Just went through the thread for the first time.

Sleeving and fotus are TOP notch. Looking forward for more.

Hope the cable management is not final. :S. how about something unique there? Like very very low wire visibility? Can anything like that be done?

It should be like only the components and very less wires. There was this mod once, Guy made a wall computer or something. The wires cannot be seen unless you are looking for it?

And love the red and black combo. My favorite colors actual. so biased. :P
