can anyone help me i have a question ...

if i jailbreak my console in future can i recover back its original firmware by any means..

this question is worrying me

im on 3.30

Yes, if on circumvented BIOS. But once you move to official 3.56, no roll back be it CFW or Official.

A lot of birdies have claimed that since months now, but go nada. Unfortunately, the PS3 scene isn't as accurate as the X360 scene, when it comes to predicting release dates of it's firmwares arrival. So when it's released, trust me, the whole world would know it. :P

I remember one guy had dumped 3.6 keys but he went to vacation and his vacation in next 2 days

:P Thats for sure. ;) But yeah we would need the new firmware because a game named BRINK does not work on downgraded EBOOT for 3.55 on the CFW 3.55. Mine did not!

Guys... I am trying to connect my WD 1TB usb 3.0 drive to my PS3 but no lluck.

The drive has a single NTFS partition.

I have also modified the USB.CFG file as per the guide. but the PS3 kinda hangs when I switch multiman's PFA driver.

BTW: I am using the latest multiman...some 2.03

Has anyone faced this issue till now? Or Has anyone tried connecting a 1TB NTFS drive using MM

^Actually there is a hack to make the PS3 recognise NTFS drives. Allwyn had posted it earlier. Will have to dig it up. Recognises my 500GB drive without issues.

MM recognises NTFS now.

I have been using NTFS drive since 2 months now...earlier I had a 500Gb drive.

But now I only have a 1TB drive and so the issue:(

Why don't you format your HDD with FAT32. I have a software link here. I had NTFS which could not be converted to FAT32 so i used this and works like a charm.

Link : Ridgecrop Consultants Ltd CLICK ON THE PICTURE to download the software.

No Man...FAT32 is obsolete...so I don't wanna use it...

As I said before I have been using NFTS since 2 months now....its just that I got myself a 1TBdrive now and its not working. Need to know if there is a limitation:(

Ethan...where r thou?

Well i know its obsolete but even with the new MM NTFS drive gives some problems. It gave on my 320GB WD Passport. So i had to format to FAT32 and it wasnt really a bad thing either. Just takes a while longer to copy thats it. :) And yes i heard somewhere that the PS3 gives a some issues with 1TB HDD's. My sources from Thailand told me that its best to use <1TB HDD's for playing games.

I know FAT32 is ok but I have the below issues:(

FAT32 is not recognized as a drive in WIn7 (last I checked)

the FAT32 partition gets wasted and can be used only for storing PS# games

Can't copy paste backup's directly as most games nowadays have files bigger than 4GB which cannot be stored in FAT32 FS

Have you made partitions to your HDD? I just have 1 full partition to my HDD and it copies games to FAT32 format be it any size. Using Win7. :O

It's true Vercetti. Higher Capacity drives have issues in NTFS mode via MM. On it's release, Dean, the creator of MM, had mentioned that the NTFS driver isn't stable and hence we are bound to face issues. Even I started facing lock ups with my external drive and promptly shifted to LAN transfer mode, which is the best IMO. Do you use it only to transfer games or some other content too?
