It was sealed , trust me. the white tape was just there, everything was visible under it.

Now that you have pointed it, it looks like tampered with, i was more focused on the processor.
Yup clearly resealed
MD deliver here in Lucknow and I've purchased few items from them without any issueLucknow is a tier-2 city & a capital so md/vedant should be able to easily deliver there. However it seems MD to start cutting costs has now started using amazon delivery which resulted in scam too here:
I read on telegram that a guy from Italy and US were upgrading there PC parts for fun, just replacing or even to the extent of going to claim rma with photoshopped items that they didn't even own.. It's not just "India" problem.Didn't the US rank top for software piracy. I would not put anything past them. Their laws are strict because they've been at it longer. Pretty much the same situation in the US with more inflation. Macro like stock market & real estate all doing well with high prices and out of reach for many.
India is a tough country to get a mobile number without accompanying paperwork thanks to terrorism. Not so easy to get burner mobile numbers here as it is over there. So same story there too.
I don't doubt they have their share of fraudsters too. It's a global problem but you seem to think we're top of the list here
Both are American companies. One is trying to do betterWhat's left is to govt to step in and provide more consumer friendly return/replacement/troubleshooting.
If they start losing business to a competitor the changes will happen.Afterwards Amazon will start loosing more money to return frauds life low life jobless dirtbags.. so they will have to come up with better solution. Be it open box or improved temper free packaging or idk opening more pickup location where items can be verified on spot.
But from how things are going right now, it's a headache for everyone
It is resealed dude. That's why I said a tape was under it. I noticed it immediately when you first displayed the box in the video. The new seal must've been fake. I mean what customer even scans the barcode? Now that you have pointed it, it looks like tampered with, i was more focused on the processor.
Also the bottom was looked that ot was previously opened.
What you are seeing is a closeup high resolution video, with naked eyes, it wasnot that apparent, and The barcode is real, you can scan it and it will open AMD authentication page.It is resealed dude. Have cancelled the order, as I don't want to be potentially running behind Amazon/ClicktechI'm planning to cancel my 7700x order placed as the seller is clicktech retail Pvt Ltd. Please advise.
Good. Az won't look into the issue as long as people keep gambling.Have cancelled the order, as I don't want to be potentially running behind Amazon/Clicktech
Sorry i didn;t see your comment somehow.Good thing that you cancelled.the extent of this scam is unknown.I would advise against purchasing processors from amazon unless they provide open box delivery.I'm planning to cancel my 7700x order placed as the seller is clicktech retail Pvt Ltd. You might want to read the first post more thoroughlyFWIW - I think these scams are more prevalent in certain geographies, and are probably run by the last mile delivery people.
Just checking, did you get it a lower price?UPDATE : - I Ordered one from primeABGB.
We all just go ahead and blame the delivery agents,FWIW - I think these scams are more prevalent in certain geographies, and are probably run by the last mile delivery people.
Have ordered 990 EVO SSD from Amazon and just noticed that its from the same Click tech seller. What should I do? Cancel the order or wait for it to arrive?
My previous orders of RX 7600 and 5600 were all fine not sure what will happen this time.
It should be alright considering past experience as well as the fact that samsung 990 evo is not something "highly in-demand" product which has more chances of swap fraud. It is kind of like how such frauds will have less chances of happening with something like poco m6 compared to iphone.Have ordered 990 EVO SSD from Amazon and just noticed that its from the same Click tech seller.
