There warranty on Soundmagic and we will still sell it but just not sell is as a distributor where we need to take care of warranty, the distributor who we buy it from will.

Graphic Cards - This is what happens in Graphic Cards here's a scenario

Customer goes to the distributor with his EOL or Old say 4850 (as graphic cards go EOL in no time 3-4 months and u have a new one) has conked off

Now he had bought it say 1 Yrs Back for say 10k, do u think the distributor will give full 10k back no , now he will say i will give u the current market price which obviously no one can decide on as its price as its already EOL or no more there as its Old so he can very well depreciate the cost of the same very easily and give u the new version + he will charge you some more money as u rightly posted here, so u happy u got a better card by just paying some extra money and he is also happy everyone is happy. The distributor did not have to depreciate coz it already , automatically got depreciated or got EOL

But according to u guys just coz my PL30 is not EOL i should pay full 900 Rs. which is wrong and that is y i say do not compare products or their warranty policies.

Y was vhass also not offered 7.7k the speakers were just 3 months old right but he had to settle for 5k (Depreciated Value) in CN no matter how many times u say it.

And why the person who had bought 4850 for 10.2k still had to pay 2k extra to get 6850 ya its a better card but the Value is lesser than 10.2k right?

Similar Value of the product in the Warranty Term is not equal to the value you paid at the beginning when u bought the same brand new, similar Value Means the Value of the Product that u have in your Hand if its used then the depreciation will happen and the service center has the right to do so if the replacement/upgrade is not possible.

These things happen very rarely but they do and big big service centers follow this because as a lot of factors involved.

I believe if my Sapphire Card needs RMA, i will get full replacement for it without CN. since its a known brand and there are authorised service centers to replace it. I remember someone bought GPU from US and got replaced with a higher value card by adding only 2k to it.

Dudeeeeee ! Are you seriously retarded or what ? Vhass was offered BETTER speakers than what he had at hand FREE OF COST !

He chose getting a CN instead of the speakers. That's his wish. Here the OP makes NO such wish. All he wants is his PL30 replaced.

And as you said that you will keep on stocking these (though from a different channel), you can definitely replace them. And you SHOULD replace them instead of writing out a CN. It all depends on OP's discretion and not yours !

(I'm sure this is still gonna come full circle ! :|)

He was offered 6021 a better model coz they have it i dnt have anything from my own stock which i had bought from manufacturer just coz its available through other distris doesn't mean its the same thing to me.

And y was the CN given for 5000/- how was that calculated y not 7.7k according to you guys it should be 7.7k right.

The fact is he was infact given lesser money than what he deserves but u guys just want this thing to solve in the way u guys want and wat about the other guy he had pay 2k more when the product was in warranty and he had paid infact more than what 6850 costs when he had actually bought it.

See this is just going round and round as u rightly suggested, 100 guys come and asks me the same thing which i have already answered earlier in this thread.

600 is more than what this product deserves at its state if i start a thread for the same i will still not get any buyers but still i am offering it now so if you guys are still not happy i cannot help TE or TE Members anymore if u think my decision is wrong u are free to do what you want and Mods are free to remove me as a Dealer on TE.

My last post here i think for today at least ... lol need to sleep now its 4am.
 
and thats why we ,atleast I buy from dealers here , because they are our friends and trust them to do fair to the customers and their friends , ... otherwise its as simple just going out and getting it from any other shop guy locally or online without them being TE dealer .....anyway your loss ....not to throw the technicalities and that you will lose 300 rs , believe me .... in the course of this thread , you have lost more than the amount and good will you could have generated just by sending back the amount or replacing it ,

1) Better speakers- The guy was gettign better speakers of same or more value.

2) He was offered a CN of 5k.

Here even thought not perfect, he was offered FULL worth of his ORIGINAL money. But he chose other wise for his reasons. SIMPLE right?
 
Yes everything is very simple according to u so be it I have decided what I have to do and you guys don't seem to understand it and think I am wrong so now you guys decide what u want to do.

This is a fair policy followed by every service center in India. Regarding other products warranty we and u both depend on the service center anyways so will help our customers in every way we can. Lately it seems the users here have become more and more unreasonable so I for one cannot take this anymore 20 pages in a day is enough for me.

Mods after this thread is done with please return the balance Dealer Payment as I paid for one year and remove me from TE as I no longer wish to deal here as I cannot meet the expectations of the customers here, will focus on my site develop it update it promote it and work on it.

whoa... im with Jeri he should get replacement or same amount credit note . People please dont buy products which dealer get from outside and they dont have service centre over here and if u do please take this is in writing for the replacement procedure so problem doesnt arrises..

I wouldnt even settle for 600 either give me same headphones or same amt credit note. i really dont care if the stock is there or not i bought it with warranty so i should get what i want..simple.
 
Its simple from what the dealer is giving the example of prime for so long.
The dealer should offer m-jeri a pl 50 free of cost because pl 30 is "out of stock" and If m-jeri does not accept the pl 50 then He can think of accepting the CN.

Lesson learnt people who bought SM products from itwares were fools because If they would have bought from prime they could have had the actual warranty and the defective piece replaced.
Happy to be not dealing with and thank god i bought my pl 11 from prime :D

1. No other distri will do this to any customer. They will offer a replacement.

2. I am not agreeable for 600rs. Full value or similar or higher product.

I spend 280 for shipping and 50 rs was put inside the parcel as u said.

The point is not 9000 or 900 i don't have pl30 , pl50 , pl21 anyone is stock i have pl11 will u take that i guess not.. what identical product should offer u? and your Full refund claim is not right coz 900 is not the worth of your 7 Months Used product just coz Warranty is there it does not mean that i am liable to give u Full Refund and i will not agree even if anyone in the world tells me.

What can i do if u spent 280 Rs. tomm u will say u spent 500 and sent it by DHL.

I will give ur 50 Rs. back and your product too.

That was never a part of your terms of warranty and can never be. This thread will not be deleted. Let us know if you and the OP have come to terms with this issue, and this thread will be closed.

If this was the market policy then why did not you mention it when you were selling under terms and condition,Many would not have brought the shit.

1. You and faheem might have come to that conclusion that the product is 600 bucks worth. Which calculation did you both use? I am the buyer not him. so i will say what price. not him. You are not doing me a favor by giving me a 600. Keep that.

2. FOR THE Nth TIME, I DON'T WANT TO SELL IT TO. I DIDN'T RENT THE ITEM FROM YOU. Replace my 900 worth earphone with similar or higher product or give a credit note of my billed amount.

3. This is my mistake. The shipping amount was 180. Not 280. so no I am not going to say it is 500 rs by DHL. If you want i can post the bill.

4. You will give me my 50rs today no matter what. Otherwise with scamming, cheating me. you are also stealing from me. Please dont stoop to that level.

I been PM'ed by few people that do not settle for anything less than, same product or higher valued one. Or credit note of the same.

The item is not even EOL. Just he stopped selling. does that concern me in anyway. They said If he can treat me like this, tmrw it would be one of them.

If you guys think I am being unreasonable, Pray please do say so. even a PM if u cant post public. I never intended in having any of these. but i cant stand being fooled.
 
mate.. instead of fighting why cant u provide a replacement to M-Jeri..900 rs m8.. u r big dealer shouldnt be a problem replacing headset m8..

why a question of 600 or amt is coming it shouldnt.. no matter he hasused the product for how long.. its dealer responsiblity to provide him replacement or give him similar headset of same value . why do customer has to suffer when the product is within warranty period... dealer has to provide replacement and thats my view...
