Market Feedback Rahul ITWares - RMA Policy - Is this same for all?

So it will fetch Rs. 600/- today, if u guys think i am forcing him like that then if he wants i can or he can wait as madnav suggested we can start a WTB thread on TE and get a PL30 with 5-6 months warranty remaining and we will get a PL30 and the problem is solved this is also good he gets a PL30 with 5-6 months warranty which is equivalent to what he wants.

rahul .. you are hilarious .. we pay for a brand new product .. we recive it in damaged but working condition .. .. its simple as that .. we need a replacement .. we need it in AWESOME CONDITION .. no scratches .. no damaged piece ..

well i wish someone behaves the same with you .. the way you do with your customers ..

wish you purchase a car .. full of scratches and dents ..

but .. that will not be the case .. coz .. THE ITWARES DO NOT SELL AUTOMOBILES .. LOL
 
Every product has its own ways of getting dents on a Car is different from some fins bent on a cooler , if u would have got bent or dented Cabinet or dented cabinet i would have surely given u a replacement. But you are angry on me and hence will do such comparisons and bash me for it.

All I can say is :-
[1] The dealer/shop is entitled to service/rma/replace the item irrespective of lack of stock for free within the warranty period

[2] The customer has every right to claim warranty if he has a valid bill/proof of purchase and if the product is in warranty

[3] The dealer should mention clearly at the time of purchase that in the event of non-availability of stock people who have given their products for rma/repairs will get an equivalent product from the same brand or any other brand or a credit note

[4] It is the dealer's obligation to silently serve the customer -- the customer pays you for the stuff you peddle -- you would not be a dealer or amount to anything without customers -- you need customers for your survival

[5] I have stopped buying from Rahul -- simply because of his lack of respect for people who call him to get prices -we are not harassing you- I was even told once I don't care if you are from Techenclave when I called him for some deal (don't remember which one) -- you would be no where without your customers and the way you have behaved and vehemently denied M-jeri his rightfully deserved replacement, I am sure you have lost a sizable chunk of deals from this website

[6] Check your attitude, Rahul, when you handle your customers, being polite is necessary to do business, you are the not the only one with all sorts of work related pressures, we all work and we all are under pressure -- some even more than you
 
Isn't the whole point of a warranty that you replace it without charge within a set time period (the warranty period) if the product sold develops a defect? Or replace it with an EQUIVALENT PRODUCT of SAME or HIGHER value.

I'm under the understanding that it's on ebay that the final sale was completed, so here's ebay india's own take on warranty:

Sellers on eBay India may offer certain types of Warranties. A Warranty is basically a guarantee given by the seller that a product is reliable and free from known defects and that the seller will, without charge, repair or replace defective parts within a given time limit and under certain conditions.

Wouldn't you be going against Ebay's own policies which should, theoretically, affect you if you're selling on said site?

Rahul, I am not sure you are in your senses when replying with a post like that. You want to solve an issue where a customer asking for an rma of a product under warranty has to search around trying to find someone selling the same product second hand with a similar warranty because you as a dealer here has failed.

From what i see the options you can do here to resolve this are

- to procure him a new PL-30 from some other dealer (since apparently you have no stocks)

- or offer him a product of similar or near value of the price he paid for the original PL-30

- or offer him a higher end product subtracting the value of the PL-30 cost (original price)

- offer him a credit note if he is not willing to take any of the above offers

I would suggest you to resolve this in an amicable manner because you have more to lose than the 500 rs for Jeri as reputation and customer satisfaction matters most for a businessman and if you are not willing to see that, you are in the wrong field here.

I have also given the buyer one more option - Lets start a WTB thread buy the same PL30 with 5-6 months warranty and be done with this

So what do you want under those certain conditions? No matter what condition, he still qualifies for a replacement "without charge" within the warranty period provided his product has 'developed' a defect and that he's not run it over with his car. That's what the conditions are for. Remember he's still within the warranty period. Plus, how is that an 'option'? You're saying "buyer, buy your own replacement, i'll sit quietly and you can do all the work instead of me replacing it".
 
I am not asking him to do anything this is what one of the member's here suggested here, i suggested buyer can talk to the seller so that he is satisfied with the product the seller is selling.

If we do it this way then the m-jeri will get a working PL30 with a 5-6 months of warranty , y do u guys just want me to pay the full amount or a brand new product only service centers can give repaired goods too here this will not even be repaired.

@itwares : CAN u specify y only money is offered and not a new replacement ?????
I NEVER THOUGHT THAT THEIR WOULD BE A THREAD WITH 36 pages in a day :O

Because you represented yourself as the dealer, claimed that you'll provide one year warranty.

For most of the items that can not be repaired - service centres give a free replacement. My Logitech wireless mouse and a logitech headphone stoped working within warranty. I was lazy to take them to Service centre. One day while I was checking my bills I realized that I have only a few days of warranty left for both the products. Rushed to Rashi Peripherals with the products with the bills. They kept me waiting for 30 minutes, tested the products and replaced with new box packed items - no question asked. The headphone was of the same model but the mouse was EOL then - so I got a newer and costlier model as replacement. All these from "infamous" Rashi Peripheral.

We want "you" to pay / replace the defective product because "You" were the person who sold it to him and when you did offer the warranty you implied that "you" would be the person who would uphold it.

We want you to "pay / replace the defective product" because that's what a warranty implies.
 
I'll be very frank , you just made yourself a HUGE LOSS by not replacing a 1k product.
My friend bought a 6950 and HAF X from you on my recommendation and another one was going to buy a 80k rig , I am from IVG , you can confirm there , the users are pushy ( Pushp Raj ) and Zeehunter ( Zeeshan )

Now not only will I avoid recommendingyou but will advise against you and I am sure most TE members will suggest ABGB now .
Leaving that , giving a used PL30 back is the WORST idea I have seen , I have gotten many products RMAed and never did I face such a problem ( none from you though , most from SMC )

I suggest just give him his headphones and get it over with , before your tarnish your own rep anymore .
 
@Rahul, why don't you provide the OP with a same standard product from SM or from other brand . I believe you said SM PL30 isn't in stock, but you might have other products in stock having similar quality and at same range. Just replace with similar one as replacement from your stock and this thread wouldn't become any more looooong.

Fine so according to you guys and forgetting the Rule on my site you say i am liable to give a Replacement for PL30 with 5-6 months of warranty.

Replacement cannot only be a Brand New product it can even be a repaired product or a similar value this PL30 according to you guys shld be of similar Value as it has the same amount of warranty and performance too and i will be the one paying for it so if m-jeri or i can start a WTB thread and buy a PL30 with 5-6 Months warranty left then he will get his products worth a working PL30 with 5-6 months warranty, as i being the service center for the same cannot provide it same as i don't have stock and don't plan to get anymore.
