Let me know any one who buy a Raspberry PI from RS, waybill/road permit is required ?

Cuz today they send me a email and said road permit required

For pi you won't be needing it, not because of the price but because of small size of the package.

I'm thinking of buying one. So what all things people are using it for apart from downloading and study? The home automation concept was interesting. Could you guys list the things that we can do with pi like automation etc?[DOUBLEPOST=1364541080][/DOUBLEPOST]Should I buy one with free case or one with free GPIO cable? What purpose does the GPIO cable serve?

Element 14 alog with RS India are two official imports of Raspbery pi in India. Thus both of them are completely safe.
