Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

^^ Gannu and Ethan.. the story line of Blood Orchid is almost same like the Anacondas 4 that i saw. Anaconda 4: Trail of Blood! shitty CGI here too. The snake movement and the details were absurdly detailed and the movemet of snake was super sonicy fast! even a just born baby could have laffed at that CGI work!

ZEITGEIST: THE MOVIE 7/10

ZEITGEIST: ADDENDUM 6/10

debatefull but worth the watch

I wonder it wont come in search here @TE :?

and their mind boggling idea:

A world with no money in it

then how come the geek will buy the best computer part's without money? No more show off threads :P

suppose nvidia came with a new gfx card after a month they gave you a free gtx295

are they suppose to give you the new card again without any favour or benefit?

^Here's another classic Tom Hanks' flick I just ended up watching - Cast Away - 9/10.

Sheesh this guy's just plain brilliant. Got no words for him!

cast away is just too good, tooo good (russel peters style :P)

An American Affair (2009)

7 out of 10

I just can't take my eyes of Gretchen Mol in this flick. She is just too cute and awesome with her expressions.

Stephen King's Misery (1990) 7/10 standard SK fare... i liked the way this movie is mild on everything and doesnt have any hyper over-the-top bits... mild horror, mild suspense/thrills, and even some mild humour thrown in - makes for a nice and easy watch :)

Actually, the second part was Anacondas: Hunt for the Blood Orchid. I remember getting flanked by my friends for taking them for it's first day first show. :P

I loved the setup of the 2nd movie. The whole Borneo jungle location was perfect. It got butchered by pathetic CGI for the snake & shoddy casting.

The next 2 sequels that followed were essentially made for TV. So it was bound to be an epic fail. Not to mention, casting David Hasselhoff, which was a joke to begin with. ;)

Hehe so true. I went for the movie going by the posters. :ashamed:

As soon as the snake turned up, I lost all hopes. I mean how huge can an anaconda get! And worst of all, sharp teeth all over. Is this some shark hybrid? :|

Tell me 'bout it. I saw the trailer & fell for it. The only realistic part was when they are walking through the swamp & they show a top image of the snake moving between them. :P

I enjoyed the first Anaconda. It was very entertaining. Although some parts were utter joke, but what I liked about the 1st movie was the work done on the snake. They used animatronics to give the snake a realistic look (albeit the color of Anaconda is nothing like it). The sequels generated the Anaconda completely via CGI. When will these guys learn that going all out on CGI doesn't always help?

@ All Anaconda watchers: Huh... you guys wanna talk about bad CGI and stupid looking CGI animals... go and watch the movie called "Attack of Saber-tooth".

I am noticing a bit too much of Mod interference lately.

So true that! And I'd said the same to him on a thread that remotely warranted a moderator's warning!

~ttm: Please dont misuse your moderator powers! If you care to look around this thread has a lot of OT posts. We're discussing about movies not any crap shite politics or something else!

Thanx!
