And I remember myself, being just a noob in hindi language then, asking my hindi teacher at school what the meaning of "mast" was.. He told me that it meant "lively" or "full of life". I concluded that the song meant "Your things are very lively" :P :P :P and stopped singing it loudly.. :rofl:

My fav songs from the movie were:

1) Tip Tip barsa Paani (specially the jingle trademark music tone)

2) Na Gajre ki Dhaar

Tu cheez badi hain was never my fav. coz it sounded like a Complete Bar song from the day it released :P

The best music score giver in the Hindi Film Industry is Viju Shah. The best work he has done is in the movies:

1) Tridev (typical Amrish Puri's sound Poooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaww Poooouuwww)

2) Vishwatma (Saath Samundar best song :P, oOOOoooOOOOOooo Dil Ley Gayi Teri Bindiya :rofl:)

3) Asambhav (too good title song / theme, songs, etc)

4) Last but certainly not the least!!!: GUPT! best bg score and songs and theme ever! All songs from that movie are my fav. can listen to them anyday anywhere and n no. of times :P

Viju Shah's major music theme was copied / inspired from The Exorcist theme. I'd say it was inspired coz it was not exact like The Exorcist but a lot of good modifications added / done to it. And if you notice it or know what am talking about, that music or a part of it is used in all his movies right from Tridev to Gupt to Asambhav. Its kinda his trademark signature... u listen to it with closed eyes and u can say its the music given by him.

He just ROcked! wondering where is he or why is he not comingup with new movie or bg score. Hez much better than 2day's stupid Pritam, Champu Kawwa Malik, etc.

Tu Cheez Badi Hai is a legendary song xD It was my childhood favorite movie maybe that's why I love it so much :P The movie was the biggest hit in '94 and launched Sunil Shetty as the more demanded action movie star than Akshay Kumar before 2000.

Quantum of Solace :
I believe, it's meant for big screen. Totally action-packed movie. 7/10
The Hangover :
Hehe, ultimate watch, hilarious riot. It's now on my 'must watch movie' list. 9/10
Kambaqt Ishq :
Yes, it's blunder & I accept it. 2/10
 
Evano Oruvan 8 out of 10 (a very good attempt in ripping off cult classic Falling Down)

Nevertheless Madhavan does a fantastic Job (role did by M.Douglas in English) also director has made good climax here(may be slightly better than the original one)

(Note: This movie was earlier made in Marathi as Dombivali Fast by the same director N.Kamat)

So. DAMN. TRUE!

Vishwatma, Mohra, Gupt happen to be some my most fav hindi movies. Later on, I found out all these 3 movies had the same background music composer - Viju Shah!

He copies his music from other sources but he modifies it really well, and his placement of score in scenes is just perfect! From the remixed, more awesome version of Terminator's tune he used for Sunil Shetty's theme in Mohra and the remixed Exorcist tune starting from the water dripping sound effects in some scenes in GUPT and its main theme..he knows what he's doing and he knows it creates an even bigger effect. Vishwatma's theme rocked too.
 
saw a couple of movies this weekend,

Red Cliff 1 & 2, the DVD was out like in 2008, cant belive they are releasing it in the theaters now,

also saw the Sunshine, and "Even Horizon in its full 1080P glory", gotta say they are one of my favs apart from solaris.

and if neone gets a chance, checkout Blindness, its a great movie exploring the human behavior just like the movie Mist, heh love these 2 movies as well.
 
Yes its true. He selected that theme for Suneil Shetty coz those days he was at the peak of popularity and he was the true Macho Man in the INdian Film Industry. True Muscles no supplements :).

See suneil Shetty's 1st movie in which he was introduced. Movie name "BALWAAN"... its his True Raw power movie! and then his other good movie with Karisma Kapoor "Krishna". This movie too had good songs but not that good BG Score.

Anacondas 4: That movie made me doze off 4-5times while watching the movie :( yet the ending is shown as if there is gonna be part 5.. Yawnn! Now the Anaconda Snake itself is looking bored!
