Rate the Last Movie You Saw...

Yeah, I feel that any kind of general talk should be free of all this OT regulations as it is basically a place for pointless chitchat as long as it doesn't escalate into too much of flaming or direct violations. Even then I think mods should be relatively lenient to such cases. Of course the direction this thread is taking should highlight the irony :P

@TTM: WTH... as long as it's about the movies we watched, how it's crapping the thread?

Anyway...

Pride and Glory : 6/10

Decent crime/thriller drama about good cops, dirty cops and everyone else in between. I feel the screenplay could have been little more tighter, as the film loses bit of pace and hold on viewer after mid-point. Otherwise good performances by Collin Ferrel and John Voight... Edward Norton is his usual self, so good that he kind of sleepwalks through his roll. Recommended for one-time-watch.

Butterfly Effect - Revelation : 5/10

It's no awesome or as brain-scratcher as the first one, but it's still watchable. Acting performances could have been better, but overall the movie doesn't turn you down. Unlike first one, this one has bit of suspense, mystery-thriller story thrown in and though kind of predictable in parts, it's still handled nicely. If you have nothing else to watch, this is a good option and it won't disappoint you.

Pubic Enemies was its original name but sensor board changed it to public enemies :P

EDIT: On a Serious Note, Modding here lately seems like "Bandar ke haath mein Ustra". They seem to be not able to get their hands off the "Godly" (shitty) like Powers!

Public Enemies - 7/10 - Was expecting more outta this movie. Depp, Bale and Mann....sheesh thats a terrrific combo....

Goodfellas - 7. It was ok, usual wannabe gangster flick.
Perfume - ?. This one was bit unusual. I really don't know, whether it was good or bad.
Black Hawk Down - 9. My favorite movie. No doubt I can watch it umpteen no. of times. I like its background score.

Gunda: 10/10 This is one epic movie which you can either love or hate. there's no midway to it. Warning : Watch at your own risk. Must watch for engineers who have stayed in hostels and have enjoyed overnight sessions of endless bakar.

I would be watching those two movies with terrible CGI just for the laughs. Thanks

It is so epic that I had to watch it in 10 minute parts.

Goodfellas - 7. It was ok, usual wannabe gangster flick.

The Movie which you are calling a usual wannabe gangster flick is considered one of the greatest crime movies of all time, right up there with the likes of The Godfather and The Untouchables.

Broken Arrow.. 1000000/10 :P Hats off pants down!! John Travolta is The MAN! Hez GOD!

The Best Performance in all his Anti-Hero characters!

Saw Tridev a night b4 y'day on Set max! :ohyeah:

Nothing But the Truth. Good movie.. I cant rate this as its based on True story and we dont really know the story. The end is a damn twister. Only one disappointment, David Schwimmer's character was wasted :(

i think the reason is that younger generation watch the new movies first (which are copies of the classics) then when they finally see the originals it seems "usual" to them :) i've felt the same after watching some good old movies....

yeah maybe that's the case :)

Thinner 5 out of 10

Yes that movie did had it's moments... but talking about weight-loss and good acting in once sentence, reminds me of "The Mechanic" starring Christian Bale... do check it out. Awesome acting by Bale and great screenplay.
