Dead Silence - 6.5/10

A decent one-time watch. It's not much scary, at least for seasoned horror watchers... but some scenes are nicely taken and will scare/shock average viewer. The camera work is really well done and cinematography is really pro-level. Visually the movie is right there in building the ambiance. Unfortunately though, despite so many plus points the movie lacks a soul and remains just another horror movie that's well done. The sound design could have been much better and it definitely would have helped building the atmosphere, as this movie being related to ventriloquism and all. The story and specially the climax leave some loose end, which was bit disturbing, though not a deal breaker. Sometimes it's works really good to leave some questions unanswered and let viewers run their imagination, but here it doesn't work that well.

But, surely recommended... worth spending your time and money , renting and watching this on DVD (or others ways if you prefer so).

District 9.
9/10

Been a while since I watched a decent sci-fi flick.
Pretty darn awesome for the director's first effort. Imagine what Halo would have been like had it been made (he was supposed to make it :()

New York. A lot of improvement in Katrina's expressions and acting and stuffs.. JOHN NEEDS TO REALLY LEARN ACTING! WHAT WAS HE DOING IN THE MOVIE!

Movie is a lot inspired (copied many scenes and situations) from the famous Pakistani movie "Khuda ke Naam Par".

Well i'd say he's improving too.. but dude, hez damn new to this industry.. just done a couple of movies, plus not a model or such background!

John is in this industry since almost like 10years and b4 that he was in Model at International Platforms.. there is no comparison! i'd say Neil is much better and speedy than John. Plus he looks better than Pimpley faced Dino like John!

All he can act and do is "Position his head in his typical position and stair through his eyes! He does that even when hez angry in action scene or in some romantic scene where hez supposed to give a romantic smile! Its frigging same eye looks everywhere!"
