Its said that the story of the game MAFIA was taken from Goodfellas. :)

And yeah, Batman Begins is a very underrated movie. May be the Dark knight has better dialogues but the story was better in the earlier one.

Yes mate, it certainly brought back memories of the game. The rise of a man in a gangster family spread over 25 years and how he recounts it. Infact some of the characters are so similar to the game. :cool2:

Christopher Nolan showed how Batman really is and what he's all about. He showed how Batman movies are supposed to be made. :D

The previous ones, especially the one with George Clooney (seriously wtf?) were lame.
 
The Tim Burton movies were good.

Also all the animated movies based on Batman:TAS universe and style have been very good. Mask of the Phantasm, etc.
In fact, up until Batman Begins, Batman:TAS was the only faithful Batman rendition in recent times. Very dark, very awesome.

I share the same feeling as yours with respect to Batman Begins.

I wonder how realistic was the story of a cartoon character and the character was very meaningful with his goals and objectives. I loved that movie. Not outstanding graphics or action but compelling story.

Would love to see some hindi films which as at least have as intelligent as these...
