Barfi - 7/10

Pros - Good script, direction and cinematography. All the actors played their parts really well, especially Ranbir Kapoor.

Cons- The music and background score is a bit bland, cliche and at times overtly dragging, the story ends in a very unsatisfying way compared to the rest of the film.

Watch it, it's really good, only a few good Bollywood movies come out now and then.

Arbitrage is just for Richard Gere fans.
It could have been a good movie but they lost the tempo many a times. Watch 'The Ides Of March' instead.

Arbitrage - 6.8/10
The Ides of March - 7.5/10
A Very Long Engagement - 8.4/10
(Pure brilliance. Watched it long time back.. got reminded about it recently)

Two lovely Hitchcock movies :

Vertigo : 8/10 , There's a twist halfway through the movie.
Rear Window : 8/10 , Grace Kelly *drool*
Anyone who's not seen these movies should be fragged! :p Both 10/10. Both these and other movies by Alfred Hitchcock are like blueprints of all great suspense movies of all time!

I watched "The Longest Yard" again. Good comedy! 10/10.

Hurt Locker - 7 / 10 - Donno why but didn't liked the movie a lot, was hoping for similar action from the likes of Black Hawk Down.

A led down indeed. Or maybe need to watch it again to get more grip on it.

Hurt Locker is a realistic take on a certain type of soldier who lives to tackle the most dangerous job in the world (diffusing bombs) and his inability to come to grips with reality afterwards. Black Hawk Down was Call Of Duty : The Movie set in Somalia.

They are two different types of movies. Both are good in their own ways, imo.
