Maharaja (2024) - 9/10

One of the best movies I have watched lately. The plot, the way it careens through the twists and turns and finally explodes with the final revelation was bloody brilliant. Vijay Sethupathi & Anurag Kashyap were outstanding in their roles. Strongly recommended movie for anyone who loves a solid action thriller.
What a movie, Just awesome. 9/10 for me as well
Thanks for the recommendation

Bhaiyya Ji - 5/10

I picked this up only because Manoj Bajpayee was in it. Unfortuantely, I was thoroughly disappointed with the way this movie panned after how it set itself up in the first 30-40 minutes of the story. It had a good plot laid out for a hard hitting revenge story to unfold but unfortunately by the end became a B-grade 90's action film. The action sequences were hilariously bad in the final scenes TBH.

Revenge is a dish best served cold. By the end this movie served it stale.

Deadpool 3– 2.5/5
Didn't click with me. Watched the movie in Hindi and found the humor quite crass and non-well-placed. I have no problem with using gaalis and all, but they used it just for the sake of it. Like the cheap OTT shows use to get eyeballs from audiences who find use of gaalis as top-tier comedy.

Thelma
10/10
Best movie I have seen in a while and not just in the comedy genre. I'd highly recommend it to everyone who enjoys a good film. Also, please watch it with subs instead of a dub if possible; else I fear much of the humour may get lost.

Zara Hatke Zara Bachke
4.5/10
Maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't already watched Love Per Square Foot (which imo was much better at around 7 or 8/10), but even then the movie felt weirdly inconsistent, stretched out, highly unrelatable (for someone who actually grew up in similar conditions of a middle class family the film tried so hard to portray) and way too predictable. Performance by Vicky Kaushal was great (as always) along with most of the other cast.
Also, weird that two movies which deal with much of the same themes (and are even set in similar backgrounds) have the same lead (Vicky Kaushal) haha. Skip unless you want to watch it for any particular cast member's performance, or just want a light, mindless flick to pass some time and laugh at (and rarely, with).

Deadpool & Wolverine - 9/10. Laugh out funny. If you're into the Marvel Universe, you'll appreciate all the inside jokes and easter eggs. Also, make sure to watch Deadpool 1 & 2 before jumping into this. Do not watch the Hindi version, it takes away from the charm, heavily.

Watched "Who Am I (2023)". I rate 7/10

It was the first bollywood movie based on philosophy that I watched. Was intrigued by the idea and found the plot pretty intense for the most part. The ending can either be fulfilling or underwhelming depending on who you ask. The female lead's acting was solid. The entire cast is made up of new faces that you've probably never seen before.

Story writing could have been better but overall fine with what was on offer.
