Rate - Who is the best PC game developer currently

Like it or not, this is an era of multiplatform and there are very few devs solely dedicate to produce top-quality PC games

There are also devs doing multiplatform games, but take great effort and care in presenting the PC version same if not better and more polished than the console ones

For me, its RELIC at No:1

Not only due to relic being pc centric devs, but all their games are real gems. They are great, highly polished, and they evolve the gameplay and technology with every game they make,

be it Homeworld, impossible creatures, DOW, COH

I dont want to start a poll, as there will be too many good devs and I cant dictate the poll options according to my choice

so, folks pour in with your choice and reasons why you think so. Lets learn from each other the insights of the developers who offer us their awesome creations
 
Capcom. Hands down. I have great deal of respect for this game developer. They have provided nothing but quality games since they first started out.
 
I don't know about any company, but in my opinion the best game developer has to be Fumito Ueda - for his breathtaking games Ico and Shadow of the Colossus
 
I specifically created this thread to rate Best Developers and not publishers

its the devs who make the games

EA of late have been pretty good and published some real good games. Atleast they acquired some great devs

Ubisoft, off late they really messed up some of the PC ports real bad (GRAW, double agent etc)
 
Activision, Relic, Blizzard, Ubisoft, etc etc

Also, the Gathering of Developers needs a special mention for whatever they did for small/independent devs.
 
no ID fans around :sigh:

...blizzard,rockstar,irrational and bioware...considering only pc games.

havent tried out a relic game yet...not a big rts fan...may be it is time... :)
