Exams over. 2 weeks break. Bored to death.

Heard Freakonomics is good ..
PS : No Harry Potter/Eragon crap; and not interested in 800 page "marathon" books.
 
how about a 500*12 marathon with wheel of time? :P

for shot seriess(trilogy), try foundation and rama series

sorry to start with my own story about reading. hmmm..to tell u frankly ..i hardly read books other than my collg books and some tech magz.and stuff...but when i saw harry potter da movie i though of reading the book ..and then i really loved it .so i read all of dem..and that was my first series of fictional books ..

then only few days back a frnd gave me

chetan bhagat's FIVE POINT SOMEONE -what not do @ IIT.

which again i think is really awesome. book in which u can relate u r self..in some chapters...so do read it ..if u havent its really nice..

after this i read..again chetan bhagat's ONE NIGHT @ THE CALL CENTER. which i liked but did not find as interesting as first one..

also read the The Alchemist : A Fable About Following Your Dream'

i havent read this one but have heard tht it's really good..so will read soon..

hope ..u will read some of the best sellers that i ve mentioned if u havent read..as they r really nice and u will like it !

I'm currently reading catch 22, as the crow flies, and the ramayana series by ashok banker. Also plan to start the Ebenezum series by Craig Shaw Gardener. A wizard who is allergic to magic :rofl:

That is the MOST retarded book EVER. It is so pathetic... he should stick to weirdo cults and all.... and not talk about physics (Angels and Demons), and computer security (Digital Fortress) where anyone with an advanced undergrad degree or grad degree in the subject can't stop laughing at the stupidity of it all.
I think AkshitMohan took your suggestion seriously in spite of the smiley face.

Don't do it man. Don't read Digital Fortress.... it is too predictable, technically incorrect, corny and otherwise lousy. It is like me writing a medical thriller - I would write a bunch of incorrect things, and even high school kids who studied Bio (I didn't) will laugh at it.

If you have ever heard of MD5, you'll laugh at the entire concept of his story.
