Literally Ambani's 45min Talk costed idea and Airtel a loss of 11000 Crores !!
Let's see What's coming up next...

@ ch@ts I'm using the Jio on Mi Note 3 ; data services no problems at all. Voice calling connectivity is not up to the mark (especially when compared to my regular phone - Samsung S7 Edge)

Just checked the tariff sheet. 50/gb is for WiFi data post expiry free allowance, and not for 4g lte data. Boo hoo...
Except the free voice call thingy, they're is not much in tariff plans announced by jio.

Na. 5p/MB default rate
Na. And here's why. With 150 I get 0.3GB of data so effectively I can get 75 * 50 = 3750 + 150 = 3900 for 75.3GB of data. Why would anyone get the higher priced packs then?

I found this NDTV article which says something similar (no adblock ;) ):
http://gadgets.ndtv.com/telecom/new...s-and-roaming-free-rs-50-for-1gb-data-1453073
"The bigger packs do get cheaper this way, so for example, the most expensive Rs. 4,999 pack gives you 225GB of data including Wi-Fi, which works out to approximately Rs. 23 per GB."

And 2-5 for night is just sad. Video Call data will count towards the MB data. so not for 150 users.

^ i just zend2.com all indian news sites.

for light users, I think the 299 plan for 21 days is better than the 499. works out to 399/28days

Whatever apps you use, Spectrum will be in use. So its a brainer!

Not exactly. VoLTE/ViLTE calls also use data. But they don't count in your data plan. The whole idea of jio apps is to make people pay more for higher GB packs. Those things with hd content will eat through GBs like anything

I think it was 2500cr for idea and 9900cr for airtel.

As for calling issue it is similar for me on Redmi note 3 as it was on S7 Edge ( had sold that) Got my Note 7 today let's see how it works on that.

I doubt if there will be any postpaid plans. MNP must be near in pipeline as in meeting it was urged to AVoId about port out requests approvals.
Reliance employees have already been instructed to port from airtel CUG to Jio. Its been 7-8 days since the porting formalities were completed

Is anyone here using a Mi Note 3 or an Le 2s phone with their Jio SIM?
I'm planning on buying one of them, and wanted to know if there are any call drop issues on VoLTE, and if the phones support video calling.

VoLTE works in Le 2 after the latest update but the software is buggy. The OS crashes at times when making Volte calls.
