I'm very happy with their longevity. It's easily on par with adidas. I bought pair of socks and compression pants (made in france) when decathlon was newly launched in India about 5-7 years ago. I abuse them daily in the gym and still they are fine to this day. All the stuff I ever bought from there is still working great. Just don't buy made in india stuff as it's junk. Every foreign business has to sale some indian junk under FDI.
This is exactly true. I have bought some trekking gears from them including the Quechua shoes. The European made products are worth the money but the Indian made products lack the finesse and quality. Now mostly 90% of the items at Decathlon are Indian made and especially the shoes are not good quality now. However, I have found their customer care to be very responsive. I did not like the Quechua shoes as I felt they were very heavy and was slippery when used for trekking. When I mentioned this in their review page they were ready to replace or refund the money even though I had used the shoes. I returned the shoes and got full refund.
