You should have just done what I said to have a clean Note. The method provided is very safe and noob-friendly in case you are hesitant about it. I gather from your posts that you had bought the devices from someone else. Unless you install a Wipe version of a ROM your data and apps will be there on the phone. Don't complain if your battery life is sucky.

Yes using apps like Titanium Backup you can freeze/uninstall unwanted apps. Just be careful about what you remove/freeze so that you don't end up with a phone without critical processes/services.
 
Initial usage, I see no change in battery life. Wi fi is on, a lil bit of messaging in whats app, and few apps downloading in the background results in 10%; battery usage per hour. So no real surprises there, should last me 15 hrs in a full charge.
 
Guys.. I tried factory reset for one last time but still its the same. Contacts, dailer, messages take 6-7secs to open. So should I go to the service center or should I try flashing stock gingerbread and then stock ics? The thing is the contacts app takes time to open for the first time and then opens fast for some time. Then again after using some apps again it takes some time to open. Now Im feeling scared Im stuck with a lemon :(. I bought my note on the 30th of April. What are the chances of me getting a replacement?
 
I decided to go to the service center today and show the guys there the lag. They might suggest reflashing the firmware I think. Let me see. And.. how would I "ask" for a replacement? I dont have any experience dealing with a service center.

I have a white note.. but I only keep switching between the flip case and normal battery cover. But I can tell you one thing, DONOT buy a matte/ani glare screen guard. t makes the screen look really bad.
Also can someone tell me how much the white rear battery cover costs and its availability..

I got myself the Sedio Active Case with the Holster. I'll be receiving it by the end of this month. Currently I'm using a silicone case that keeps the phone safe and clean until the Sedio arrives.

I use this : White High Gloss Glitter Pearl Color Gel Soft Case For Samsung Galaxy Note | eBay

Its awesome. Way better than any regular cheap silicon / gel case. Ask bikey, I gave him the black version of this when he bought the other Note from me. Its really high quality and looks premium. (ignore appcase marking, thats watermark ;) ).
Most importantly when it gets dirty as this is high gloss material, it washes off clean with little bit of wet towel and some liquid soap.

I have xtremeguards wet application one applied on this phone. Had no brand dry application one on the other as wet application one are expensive since the local maker gadgetshieldz shut down.

Yup, thats it. Shipping will be around $3.75
So its dirt cheap for 3 quantity.
And all xtremeguard ones are wet application. They specialise in wet application screen and body protectors.

I think they have good old fashioned CC gateway as well, so Indian CC wont be an issue. But I always use paypal wherever option is available purely for safety reasons.
 
Got my capdase alumor Elli metal case and its awesome and feels really great in hand and screen protector provided with it is too very very good. Doesnt affect picture quality at all.

Does it have a rubber/silicon/soft coating inside? Can you put up pics plz.

Also what were the damages and where did you order it from?
