Hey i just tried but i m not able to edit those messages ,,,,when someone calls and if tap on any of the messages the message goes and it doesnt give me an option to it ...and i dont wana edit it everytime i reject a call but i want to store them ..please suggest

go to Settings>Applications>Call>All Calls>Reject Call With Message. Now the 5 preset messages will be displayed. Tap on ANY one and u can edit then save :D

Actually i have not got time till now to fully exploit the potential and the features of this phone because of office load,,,so all this silly noob questions of how to do and all..

pretty happy with it...

going to do R&D on it for a couple of days... :)

That error screen I posted above on wave - had this like 6 times since the svc people updated my Wave to DDJF2. The regional manager of Samsung who has been constantly in contact with me has promised to look into the matter and even swap my handset for a new one. I am more impressed with samsung people's helpful attitude than the Wave :) Never had this kind of support from any Nokia people.
I will visit the svc today and see what they can offer..

@kanishk619- Thanks. Ya sure, but I will need a lot of help of those talented devs to port Android to Wave..

why isnt the text input method for the wave multitouch like the iphone.. real downer for me.. if some1 can correct me there is a possibility of me buying this phone

Did anyone notice the "current store" option at the bottom right in "samsung apps' window of kies, I was able to switch to India, was wondering if this does away with the necessity of selecting "UK" while installing Kies.

Also, maybe its just me, but i think my previous Wave was handling memory allocation better :-/ never faced the issue of memory while launching multiple apps on my previous black wave. have faced it twice on the current one!

BTW, I visited Samsung svc today. They offered me a brand new opened handset. But even that particular handset had same kind of multitasking issues I am facing with current one. Also that handset was having DDJF2 firmware as well. Hence instead I got my firmware flashed to DDJF2 again and returned that handset. Mine is doing fine since then, till now haven't had that debugging screen :)

It would be awesome if someone can properly port android to Wave. Sales of Wave will skyrocket then :)

Hi Friends,

I am trying to update the firmware to DDF2, but I am getting error message, "Failed to convert to upgrade mode. Please try later"

and I am not able to update the firmware. I tried twice but each time kies downloads firmware from net I get the same error message.

Please Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok so here is my first day with WAVE...

the phone is gr8 while using... the touch is gr8 the screen, everything rocks while you are going from one menu to another... when i bought it the battery was 50%, the person there told me first to discharge the phone and then charge it full...

i charged the phone for the first time yesterday, it took around 4 hrs to charge it and it gave me a back up of only 18 hrs :( which was less than expected... the use of the phone was as follow...

camera used for 1-2 hrs, around 100 snaps taken yesterday.

music player used for 30 mins

Wifi used for 30 mins

sent 10 msgs

used the phone to explore it for around 1 hr

browse the image galary for 1 hr

used bluetooth to transfer the files for around 1 hr

the rest time the phone was in idle state...

i read somewhere that the battery backup increases after few charge-discharge cycles... is this true guys?

also the phone gets a bit hot when i used it for camera and games purpose continuously for 15+ mins... after reaching a certain heat level it stays there... is this normal too?

waiting for reply other WAVE PHONE....

will post more about my first few days experience with WAVE... :)
