Its not only the prob with the wave

All the samsung phones have the same prob,.,,,many of my friends who have samsung phones have complained the same...

^^ Thats really sad, Samsung should do something about it.

BTW Is there any way to view contact numbers while on a call ? as i can only see contacts and not the numbers. I have to end the call then note down the number and then give call back to give the number....Damn this is so frustrating....This really needs to b fixed by samsung.

Hmm yea its kinda frustrating, but you can do this, while on a call, press the menu button and then navigate to contacts :)

Well i found out a problem that if i m downloading a particular widget or app thru GPRS...after a certain period of time the downloading pauses automatically....dont no y....is it the phone prob or the service provider,,,

hmm, maybe service provider, although whenever you lock the phone the edge/gprs connections are disconnected then

Ya it gets disconnected at tat time only when the phone gets locked,,initially i thought that the GPRS is getting disconnected but now i saw that when the backlight goes off the Edge also goes off....actually the download shud be running in the background na for ideal case,,,

Hey guys try out the piano and the mirror application ( The front camera ) ..its kind of good

guys , i have been using this phone since 2-3 weeks now..i got it exchanged TWICE with the dealer after getting DOA..first one had network problem , second one had camera problem...and now this third one although doesnt have such problems , its battery life is worse than poor..I mean after 3-4 discharge cycles i thought it wud last 2-3 days..but what the hell , i got dischared to 100 to 78 in just 2-3 hours !! with ABOSULETLY NO USAGE and just 1 phone call of 4-6 minutes and 3-5 messages..is this normal ?? or should i go for battery replacement ??

also it heats up a LOT even if no app is running..last night i slept by mistake on the phone (with 89% battery) and when i woke up it was hot like hell !! is this normal ?? please try it out guys :) let me know if i am the only one..the phone has serious issues :(( that is why the 18k cost :mad: :mad:

it's not normal... i was facing the battery issues before, but it's improving with each charge/discharge cycle... not sure though...

What kind of network problem ? Do you mean reception issues ? If the battery is not good just get it replaced at any Samsung service centre, I just got mine replaced recently. Now getting a good battery performance.

yep, get it replaced... 100% to 75% in just 2-3 hrs without using is not acceptable at all... go get it replaced... all the accessories including battery have a 6 months warranty... so don't worry... :)

BTW my battery just lasts 24 hrs with normal usage i.e taking few snaps, watching few videos, listening to some songs, and sending some msgs and making some calls... none of the above said exceed 30 mins... still it lasts only 24 hr, shud i also get it replaced???

guys give the battery time... i dont know why everyone is expecting miracles from the battery. What is said in reviews doesnt always translate to real life performance.

@nitmeh do u want us to sleep on our phone and checks if its heats up :O.. My phone hardly heats up during normal usage, it obviously gets warm during gamin etc but its not that hot..

how much time are you taking about here...?

and how much battery backup are you getting from your wave... i just checked the battery was 5% less with 10 mins of gaming... is that normal?

sorry to bother you but iam a bit worried... :)

ya its normal.. i get around 2-3 days backup depending on usage. what have u set the screen brightness to? It took about a week for my wave to start giving its acclaimed backup :)
