U need to stand in the open so that the phone gets a lock on the satellites,,it also depends on the weather conditons,,,,To get a lock it sometimes needs 2 mins and can take 30 minutes also,,,

As for the battery issue i had also discharged it completely and kept it for charging for 6 hours straight the first time...no issues till now with the battery

how do i do that? while syncing it did not ask me for the location where it should be installed.
as i check my phone, the maps are installed on my phone's memory. can i directly cut from phone's memory & paste to memory card?

i don't have any issue with my battery for now, not at least before i try a few charge-discharge cycles. btw my battery charged fully in 3 hrs during my first charge i.e. from 0% to 100%.

@kcube u need to set the phone to "mass storage mode" then open the route 66 program. It will search for any devices connected and your wave will show up automatically. Download the India map and it will automatically transfer it to the mem card. BTW LIFETIME navigation now available for 30 EURO :)

and guys yesterday something happened on my wave. I opened Samsung Apps (frm phone) and it showed 1 update available. I tapped on that and it showed a list of ALL my apps. I didn't know which app needed to be updated so i browsed through each one, FINALLY one app showed "update". So i tapped on that and it started to download the app, but the app never installed. It jus kept showin "Installing". I had to restart the phone and i noticed the Samsung Apps Icon had a 1 next to it (kinda like when you get a message the messages icon has a 1 next to it). Well i uninstalled that app but the 1 mext to the Samsung Apps icon didnt disappear. I repeated the whole procedure again without any luck :( now i have a 3 next to the Samsung Apps icon :( the apps dont seem to update properly. I hope they fix this bug.

i did the same as i followed the instructions on the site. but now as i checked where the maps are installed, it is stored in the phone memory.

cut paste the samsung navigator folder from phone to memory card :)

i have the same problem last night but solved by moving the maps to memory card, still congrats :)

anyone owning a zte modem could please guide me through the wifi connecting process plzz....

also kies is not working for meh...i am on windows 7 32 bit...when i go to the samsung store via kies...it gives the error not able to resolve img.samsung.com..!

Guy check this out ,i dont know if you have tried it or not,but opera mini works like a charm in its NATIVE resolution..all u need to do is goto the games and more , then click on 3dots,select fit to screen and virtual keyboard ,and then deselect opera mini from there..then run opera in full screen in native resolution..Finally , got rid of lame dolfin browser..just one problem though , opera doesnt support multitouch but its not much of a hassle i think..enjoy..might be an old news for u guys :p

Thx for this...... but Opera keypad is very slow to respond...... I hope they develop 1 for Bada OS.....

@ nitmeh3 Which firmware your using? I am on DDJF7 and I am not able to see any Opera Mini after clicking on select fit to screen and virtual keyboard.
I can just see Java Logo with No items written.

Can you pls help??

guys please help - its urgent
i tried to upgrade my firmware from kies & after download was complete it gave me an error of some RAPI.dll file missing & the upgrade failed... what to do next coz my screen still shows the upgrade symbol & i haven't disconnected the phone yet...

All u have to do is find the cab file under

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\KiesInstall1\CabFile\OsDep… Files\Common Files\Samsung\DeviceService

Extract the both dll files to Windows\System32.Now try again it should work.

In case if cannot find cab files,uninstall,restart and reinstall the kies,then check for the cab files.

Hey any one of u able to open the desktop site of the orkut on the opera mini in the wave,,,because whenever im trying it is reverting me back to the mobile version of orkut
